The Ritz Carlton is a very large hotel split into an "ocean side" and a "resort side" with a major road and an overbridge between them. Each side is by itself as large as a big hotel - together this is a huge hotel. The rooms on the ocean side all have balconies overlooking the pool and beach/ocean. High floors... more

We truly enjoyed our stay here, and it was a solid 4.5 star experience. I had to take half a star off for some mishaps and annoyances, and the presence of Convention People. Check In: Relatively smooth. We had to wait for our room for 1 hour, so we went to Bar Jack and had lunch. The woman who checked... more

From the moment we arrive at th Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, we knew we were going to have a great vacation. Ollie at the front lobby was one of the many most helpful, professional staff members at the Ritz. The front lobby staff ( especially Bernie & Ed) were always ready to answer questions and provide detailed and helpful advice to... more

The hotel is beautiful and the service is top notch. Children are welcomed in all of the restaurants, even Blue, which is a very nice touch. We were upgraded to a one bedroom oceanview suite, and it was simply amazing. You didn't even want to leave your room. I would say that it is important to note that there are... more

This was the second time we stayed at the Ritz Grand Cayman and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again. The service was great, the food yummy, the bed comfortable, the ocean view spectacular, the location good, the gym well equipped. We rented a car this time (free parking on the property if you don't valet) and actually left the resort, which... more

We just returned from a relaxing trip to Cayman Islands. We were a bit concerned about the weather but it turned out to be perfect - clear skies, great breeze off the ocean & warm evenings. We checked into our room, a pool view room with a balcony, just a short trek through the hotel's "gallery" to the ocean. All... more

We stayed at the Ritz for 5 days using Marriott Reward points. This resort is fabulous. Everything, every detail makes you feel comfortable in an elegant setting inside and out. The staff really cares about your experience at the resort. They smile, say hello and really mean it. We loved the restaurant called Periwinkles. It is on the land side,... more

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton last week. What a let down the experience was. My husband was asked to move from his spot at the pool by hotel staff. Aparently the space was reserved for a Resident of the Ritz Cartlon. We were never able to receive a clear answer from management on that. The hamburgers were over priced... more

We had a great stay at the Ritz. The nice rooms and little details are well covered in other reviews so I submit some useful dining, property and area tips based on my stay. Dining (Grand Cayman is pricey, the hotel even more so, be ready) At the Ritz 1. Blue by Eric Ripert - Absolutely wonderful (albeit about $500... more

This is my third stay at a Ritz-Carlton property and without a doubt my expectations are exceeded every single time. I received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean-side suite which was huge and more room than I needed but I loved it anyway. The amenities are fabulous, including bath salts, spare razor, lotions and french bar soaps. The bedding is... more
