Having to catch up with our cruise at the last minute, the only hotel our travel agent could find, that was available to us at 250,00$ (Can) was Treasure Island Resort. Although our stay was brief, we found that this hotel was certainly not up to par by any standards. Dated and neglected, the hotel did benefit of a good... More

Probably don't want to plan your Cayman I. vacation around Treasure Island Resort, because it isn't really a resort. We stayed for 3 nights to extend our stay after a week on the east end. It served our purposes just fine, because we wanted a long weekend on 7 mile beach without breaking the bank. T.I. is looking for a... More

I travel to the beautiful Island of Gran Cayman and stay at the Treasure Island Resort. As I walk in the lobby was dirty and lack of maintenance, it is obvious the General Manager is not stepping up and it seems he or she is blind folded. The lobby is the welcome of the hotel, this lobby is dirty and... More

You’ll be greeted by a creature named Mariela at the front desk. She is formerly of the Bates motel. She has a face to match her attitude. Scary. If they’re going to sell this dump they need to start with a hose, a can of Raid and a bottle of bleach. And that’s just to sanitize her mouth and demeanor.... More

Dont expect five-star hotel treatment from this place. If you just want a place to sleep, shower, wifi and booze at a reasonable price, this is the place. The beds are extremely soft which might be uncomfortable for someone who's used to firmer beds(like me). The A/C turns off if you open the sliding balcony door. The pool is very... More

Have no words to explain how terrible experience it was. Dirty, bad service. On your way to your room you'll see hotel residents living in very sad conditions. The city should not allow this place to be called hotel. They have a note on a wall in the guest registration desk: "if you have maintenance complaints send an email to... More

I could spend some quality time on a worthless topic, but I won't. In short, The Treasure Island Resort is an old hotel with a proud and profitable history that was converted to accommodate monthly paying residents. It succeeded it that also but due to obvious neglect and poor decisions it is now, in my opinion, bankrupt and very dirty... More

Booked to stay there a month, left after 4 days. The room was so gross and disgusting that it was unbearable to stay in the room had so much mold in it that I had a severe allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital. This was the third time that we've stayed at Treasure Island and its definitely... More

Very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. Upon check in, we noticed a cockroach in the bathroom. Sheets were stained and dirty. Ceiling fan had mold on it and was covered with thick dust. Definitely do not recommend this hotel. The only thing right about this place were Bernice at front desk and security guard working that evening. They... More

This isn't going to be a long review as we stayed only long enough to check out the room and figure out our options. The room that we were given (4114) was so moist that condensation was built up on the sliding patio door and had mold along the perimeter. The air conditioner was a health hazard. The filter was...
