Morritt's Tortuga Club has a beautiful location! However, if you plan on anything other than using their facilities or those on Rum Point (which I think belong to Morritt's as well) this is not the place for you. The distance and ever increasing traffic make the drive to the other side (east end) at least 45 min to 1 hour... more

We traded thru RCI to stay here. It was a nice property. We stayed in the Grand in room 6104, a one bedroom which was ground level. We had a sliding glass door that opened right up to the beach. My only complaint was that the bedroom window was right by the main walkway which was lit up all night... more

We stayed at Morritts Tortuga Club 4/18-4/25. We were in a two bedroom unit that had a view of the smaller pool. It was the end unit so if we sat just right, we had a slivered view of the beach between the ocean front buildings and The Reef Resort from our back balcony. The unit was HUGE; more than... more

My husband and I stayed at the Morritt's Tortuga Club & Resort for our honeymoon April 2007 (4/22-4/27) through our timehsare with RCI. The resort is located on the quiet side of the island and is perfect for those who want an intimate environment. The resort is 45 minutes from the airport and the resort provided roundtrip airport transportation for... more

We stayed on the 5th floor , a 2 level penthouse facing the ocean with our friends staying in another section facing the pool. Try to get a room facing the ocean has it gives off a wonderful breeze and sets a beautiful picture of paradise. The beds are nice, but the pull out sofabed were painfully bad and thin.... more

We stayed at Morritt's from 4/12 - 4/17. The resort was just ok. The water was very beautiful, crystal clear. We expected some amazing snorkling right off the beach, it was fair. The restaurants, gift shops, rentals , gas, groceries...pretty much everything was SO EXPENSIVE.... We were on the "quiet" side of the island, which we were fine with... but... more

We went to Morritts the middle of July for our honeymoon. They upgraded us to an ocean front because of that, which made the entire trip. I must say it was wonderful. We had a ocean front balcony on the the 4th floor. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves everyday. It was amazing. The beach was a bit... more

I just got home from one week on Grand Cayman. My family and I stayed on the East End at Morritt's Tortuga Club. This spot was fantastic. We did some great snorkling just steps from our room. There are several pools here, the Grand Pool (an infinity pool) was just great. One of my favorite parts of this resort was... more

Our first visit to the Morritt's, as time share owners. We enjoyed a well appointed pool side studio room with FULLY equipped kitchen, full bath, queen bed and private deck overlooking pool. The resort was all we hoped for, as active as you wished, or as quiet as you wanted. We rented a car and enjoyed the scenic drive from... more

The key to the Morritts is staying in the Seaside or Grand buildings if possible. These are both cement with elevators, ocean view and less than 7 years old. The Seaside is brand new and there is a second being built. If you are in the Tortuga, the ocean building is best. It is wood and older but was gutted... more
