Arriving on a Friday evening, we were made welcome and enjoyed a bar meal. Started Saturday with a good cooked breakfast, which set us up for the day of walking the local hills. There were 2 families staying there but we wouldn't have noticed as the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Next time in this area we will be staying... More

The team at the Cadwgan hosted my father in law's 70th birthday party. We therefore had the opportunity to enjoy all the services available. From the wonderful people, to the fantastic food and the excellent accomodation. All was first rate. Thank you.

I have visited the Cadwgan several times with my family. We always receive a very friendly welcome and enjoy the range of food and drink on offer. The food is fantastic value for money. Perfect for a relaxed family meal or a refreshing drink on the way back from the beach! I would definitely recommend.

I brought my family, 6 plus baby, on Saturday evening. We had such a genuine, warm and friendly welcome. The "pub grub" was excellent, some of us had meals, some just snacks, desserts and drinks but all of us felt welcome in this lovely friendly relaxed place! All very affordable too!

We were walking in the area and chose the particular route as it included a pub. Good pint of Snowdonia however the menu for a lunch snack was over priced and there were no sandwiches on the menu only "wraps" and much more expensive meals. I chose the Cajun chicken wrap as the best choice - I wanted a nice... More

Stopped by with my 88 year old mother for an early evening meal. We both went for the burger. Meat very tasty, huge bun and lots of thick chips. Everything was lovely, hot and very clean but we both failed ot finish off the chips and as we don't like waste this is a down score for us. Very friendly... More

Popped in on a Suday lunch time on our way back from Dyffryn village. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a beer (real ale) and decided to stop for lunch. The lunch was huge and very tasty. i had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection. My partner had ordinary lamb which she felt was a... More

We spent only one night at the Cadwgan and we loved the informal and rustic atmosphere of the pub but what struck us was the great kindness showed later on, when I told the owners I left my favourite coat in the wardrobe of our room. They immediately sent me the coat by mail without even accepting me to pay... More
