My teenage son and I stayed here recently and loved it! It is a dedicated dive resort, connected to Ocean Frontiers Dive shop. Our one bedroom condo was clean and well appointed with a terrific view of the ocean. A little noisy as it was right next to the dive shop, with all the clanging of scuba tanks. Didn't bother... more

Wow i'm back already from the most amazing trip ever to the Caymans and it was the best. Diving was supreme especially a place called "Ironshore Gardens where you get to swim through a whole bunch of tunnels and crevases. Compass Point was the best resort ever because are room was a suite with everything, a kitchen, bathroom, jet bathtub... more

This was our first stay at Compass Point, but not our last. Everything about the property was pretty close to perfect for us. The East end location is perhaps somewhat less popular, but don't tell anyone! :) It's great! The room was spacious, attractive, clean, comfortable, nice kitchen and bath with a great bed, and all with an incredible view.... more

My teenagers and I spent a week at Compass Point in November. We all rated the experience as one of our best vacations ever. It's a given that Grand Cayman has some of the best reef and wall diving in the world. The East End is far less touristy and far more attractive to travelers like us that go to... more

My husband & I have just completed our second stay at Compass Point dive resort and our third dive trip with Ocean Frontiers. We stayed in unit 101 which is a one-bedroom condo on the 1st floor. Although this is identical inside to the last unit we stayed in, the 1st floor location means that there are steps from the... more

Just spent a week at Compass Point in a one bedroom condo diving with on site operation Ocean Frontiers. We have been to the Cayman Islands over a dozen times and have 5 previous visits to Grand Cayman. Have logged over 500 dives each. We had not been to Grand Cayman since Hurricane Ivan. We had never stayed, and dived... more

Before booking our dive trip to Grand Cayman, we did a bit of research trying to find the best place to spend our money--good view, great diving for newbies, good value, etc. Our search turned up several of the dive places on Cayman: Divetech, Sunset House, and Ocean Frontiers. We knew we didn't want the craziness of 7 Mile Beach,... more

My buddy and I spent 4 days at Compass Point in early March. The main purpose for the stay was diving and so we were not expecting luxurious accommodations. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, well appointed, modern equipped suite. High end stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, flat screen TV, washer and dryer, super comfortable beds, spacious living... more

Compass Pointe is ideal for independent travelers because all units contain full kitchens. The island has a number of full-service grocery stores (I recommend Hurley's), allowing you to save quite a bit on food. Packages at this resort generally include car rental, which is key for reaching the resort and for touring the island. We drove the entire length of... more

Our family stayed here for several nights at the end of December and it was half empty . This is a wonderful facility for groups of divers, however ,if you don't dive there is very little to do at this unspoiled end of the island. Although we were not informed of it you definitely need a car because the public... more
