My wife and I enjoyed several days at the TNI recently - it was absolutely perfect for us. We like staying off the beaten path of the tourist throngs and like having a rent car for exploring. Driving to and from Bodden Town was easy once you get over the nervousness of driving on the left side of the road.... more

Living all over the world our family always look forward to the rare opportunities for 6 siblings and our Dad to get together, relax, unwind and laugh a lot. A rare week without children and partners was filled with warm memories of sun, sand, sea, snorkeling with beautiful fish and being stalked by Barry the Barracuda, feeding the stingrays, sailing... more

My husband, daughter, and I spent ten days at Turtle Nest in April. We wanted a place that was authentic, off the beaten path of tourist traps and high rises, and a base from which we could explore the island. Turtle Nest Inn far surpassed our expectations. For starters, it was spotless. Also, the snorkeling on the reef right out... more

The Turtle Nest Inn was a friendly place to stay with people who went out of their way to assist us. Donna especially went the extra mile....literally! She let us follow her to the nearby grocery store that we weren't able to find on our own. The location is great for the private, quiet beaches and snorkeling was awesome. We... more

nice place but make sure you get a room with an ocean view, hosts are great, only downfall is that hotel was on other side of island if you want to scuba dive. you have to drive about 45 minutes at 630 in the morning, not ideal. good value more

Management response from

We not only respect critical opinions, but readily admit that the Inn is not for everyone. And we don't as a rule respond to reviews unless we consider that the content is misleading to prospective travelers, as we feel is the case with this review. But, we are flattered -- if not somewhat surprised -- that former guests remember us...

My husband and I stayed at the Turtle Nest Inn a year and a half ago and had a great time. The rooms were clean and well stocked, the staff was helpful, the location was perfect for exploring the island and all at the right price. After our visit went so well, when we decided to get married on Grand... more

We were so lucky to have found the TNI on trip advisor last fall when looking for a place to honeymoon! It was everything we expected and more. We loved the fact that it was off SMB, quiet, clean, had friendly staff, and the place really has everything you need for your trip. They had games we could check out... more

We live in the Upper Midwest and for the past two years the winters have been brutle. My wife wanted to go "somewhere" warm and she was thinking Florida. So when I surprised her and showed the trip I had booked to the Turtle Nest Inn she was excited. Our stay exceeded all of our expectations. The room was meticulously... more
