We just arrived back from a seven night stay at Bitter End. I had been there 23yrs ago on a boat so it had been a while. This time I was there with my husband and two of my teenage children. Although I would go back there without hesitation, particularly for the beachfront villa view and hammock, I do have... More

This was my 5th visit to the BEYC over the past 9 years, not including brief stays as a boater on a slip, and the more I see of the Virgin Islands the more I look forward to coming back here. It’s a nice combination of upscale and laid back and I noticed a number of improvements since my last... More

We stayed here in 2002, we being at the time my wife and I and 3 daughters under 12 years old. My kids have spent every summer on the water, and they thoroughly enjoyed BER. There was so much for them to do: snorkeling, sailing, sailing lessons, swimming, boat trips, the pool, movies in the evening, and apparently, judging by... More

Stayed in a slip on a boat at their marina. Doing this, you have full use of their resort. It was the best boating facility I stayed at while sailing around the BVI. I would definitely go back there to stay as a land-based guest too. They have extensive water sports and a proper sailing school on site with a... More

great location. rooms are open air bungalow style set on hillside overlooking the bay. food was included but not that good-food poisoning from the evening buffett second night. ended up eating at the bar a lot-which was essentially chicken or burgers cooked on a weber grill-turns out that was not included in price (add another $200 for chicken sandwiches and... We've visited the BEYC 4 times over the past 20 years. Our most recent visits were in 2006 and 2004. The rooms, the view and sailing choices are excellent. It has been sad to see the reduction in beach space as the resort continues to develop. The food is not bad, but not 5 star either. It is still a... More

My wife and I did our honeymoon there and it was perfect,,,the rooms on the couples-only side of the island were neat little cabin type rooms, very rustic, but nice and cozy, the food was ok, some of the staff were excellent, others could have tried a little harder, but we were on our honeymoon, so it was good. We... More

My husband and I just returned yesterday from a 7 night stay. What a wonderful place to stay. Our accomodations, while not luxurious, were extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. And it is true...the showers are fabulously large! We love all water sports so we were extremely happy to be able to use all of the boats and join the snorkel... More

Having three teenagers we all felt that we picked the perfect place. The Bitter End was great! Before we decided to go there we looked into the other resorts on the island and also the house rentals, but they all lacked the boat excursions and snorkle trips.Going all the way to the BVI we wanted to be out on the... We just returned from an 8 day stay for our 10th anniversary, having also come here for our honeymoon. I think one needs to understand the resort before coming in order to enjoy it. Apart from the sunburn, we had a great time. We did two excursions and a local reef trip. One day I did the resort SCUBA diving... More
