Do not stay here. It is neither Paradise nor or the rooms, suites. Put up here by the local airline LIAT and made to share a room with another female traveller. No smoke alarm, no fire escape (and up two rickety floor levels), no safe door lock, no window. I could go on, but you get the picture.

We landed in Road Town a day ahead of our sailboat charter, but didn't have reservations. Paradise Suites is about four blocks from the ferry dock. We were just about to get a taxi to The Mariner Inn at the Moorings when we spotted it (on the left as you're walking to traffic circle from ferry dock). It was cheap,... More

I cannot rate this place with hotel ratings! It should not even be in the "hotel" category. It is carpeted and the carpet has obviously not been cleaned for some time and that gives it a musty smell which you notice as soon as you enter the building. It has an escalator which is not working so you have to... More

A group of camp followers for the Caribbean Union of Teachers' 12th Biennial Championships, July 2008, stayed. here for a week. The place was clean, comfortable, safe and most of all, convenient. It is also reasonably priced for the traveler who is looking for such. The accommodation though not 5 Star, is ideal for travelers who are on foot as... More

I stayed here with my 19 year old daughter last March. The hotel was the cheapest on the island and most certainly in the handiest location. We did not have high expectations as this is part of the beauty of the island in that it is relatively unspoilt and NOT overcrowded with touristy accommodation. You still get roaches however much... This was a goofy place which we chose because of its convenient location before our charter started. It has surely seen better days, and we had quite a laugh over the dried up ancient jacuzzi and the only escalator in the BVIs. It didn't work. The bathrooms were clean and had nice fresh towels. I had a new mattress, so... More

This hotel was selected from a catalog sent by the Tortola Chamber of Commerce. The photo and description looked attractive enough. We stayed in Road Town while returning from a week on Virgin Gorda. Initially, we were put in a claustrophia-inspiring windowless room replete with bed bugs and roaches. That room had a strangely sweet smell that we have read... More
