We stayed in the two bedroom condo the night before our charter, and it suited our needs to a tee. The condo was spacious, quiet, convenient and reasonably priced. The attached restaurant was a bit pricey for what it was (but so is every restaurant in BVI, it seems!) but adequate. Service was friendly. We walked here from the ferry... More

I had stayed in this hotel before like 18 months ago. This time the rooms where smelly and the comforter of the bed had holes in it. the Internet in the rooms was not working since I checked in the room and left next day and still not working. When to the bar and used the internet then that one... More

We spent two nights at VCH in May, prior to departing on a bareboat charter. We stayed there in 2012 in a two bedroom condo. This time, we had a single room. The room was comfortable enough, but certainly no frills. It did have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as a balcony that overlooked the marina. The... More

Not the best place to stay on a business trip, thankfully I was only here for 2 or 3 nights. Wouldn't want to stay there again. It really is the type of place you stay one night when getting on or off a boat or something. It's not a business hotel. Rome was adequate but nothing more. Didn't really feel... More

Stayed at the Village Cay Hotel for one night while waiting to go to a resort. The rooms were average in condition but the bed was horrible, barely enough water to rinse with from the shower and the TV was so outdated it barely worked. The bar was is a local hangout and the bartenders barely acknowledged us except to... More

The problem with Tortola is their are not many hotels to choose from so when all else fails then village cay is where you stay.Where do I begin....poor customer service, shower in the room doesn't work, food is ok but expensive and the entire hotel looks rundown...oh air conditioner unit did not work and to top it off the hotel is expensive.

The hotel is at a convenient location close to Road Town Ferries. The room was relatively clean and inexpensive. However, little things broke here and there, and they weren't replaced during our stay. I would have thought that people living in such a beautiful place would have a happy and vibrant personality. No, not at all. They seem very miserable.... More

Excellent welcome by Village Cay reception staff after another hotel had failed to honour a booking. Refurbished rooms are very pleasantly furnished. The bar and restaurant area is busy in the early evening but becomes peaceful later in the evening

We spent our first night in the BVI at Village Cay before our sailing trip as the Nanny Cay was booked. Nothing fancy, but very nice people, nice little restaurant, bar there in the marina. Room was clean, comfortable. Reminds you to get on "Island time" which is a very good thing. It is a chore lugging your bags up... More

We often rent a boat at the Moorings in Road Harbor, Tortola and need a room for the night before our charter starts the next morning. The Moorings Mariner Inn is what most people book, but it can be over $300 a night! For a cheaper alternative try the Village Cay Hotel and Marina. The rooms are fine, there's a nice... More
