I stayed at the Fort Burt Hotel 2 nights before and one night aftery sailing trip. I looked the place up on Google Earth and it turned out that the hotel is somewhere completly different. I chartered my boat at the Conch chartes and when I got to Fort Burt Hotel it turned out the be the best hotel for... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday night. We were great by our server who immediately made us feel very special. A heartfelt welcome and a couple of cold beers started out a great evening. We were lucky enough to be seated on the veranda with its amazing views and lovely warm evening breeze. For our entrees we chose seafood... More

I really really like this place , its very quiet and private and clean...my room was very airy and has an ac which I didn't need...the view was spectacular.. the pool was great. I have no negative comment to add..just love the BVI..cant wait to have another family vacation.

I really wanted to like this place. We only stayed for one night before a sailing trip. We wanted to be in town, thinking we could walk places, but there isn't much to walk to here and it's treacherous traveling at night given the fast moving traffic. The woman at the front desk when we arrived was surly. Very unfriendly,... More

The front desk staff was really helpful, booking problems were sort of solved. They let us leave our stuff and use the pool before our 3:00 pm check in. Also they were super helpful for dinner recommendations. The pool had glass in it, cut my foot. Rooms are very tired.

It's sad to have to write a negative review about what was once a novel place. But it is beyond repair and beyond saving, I'm afraid. The staff mean well but the facility is just plain shot. The blinds in the room were shredded, the balcony railings unsafe, the faucet handle broken, sliding door didn't lock, AC very loud, lights... More

We had a similar experience as the "TravelingCelt" in that the dining room closed when there were few guests. This seems to be common in the VI, so we didn't think much of it, however. We could have eaten at the restaurant, but chose the Pub because the restaurant prices were steep and the menu limited. When we were there... More

We arrived at 19:30 to be confronted by a hotel which seems to be closed. There was one person in reception, but the lights were off in the (very attractive) bar and we were told the chef had gone home, so there was no food available in the restaurant. If we wanted breakfast we had to give the time in... More

We didn't get to sty there but we will if the chance comes up. Old Fort converted to a hotel, family owned. Lovely place with lots of character. Stayed for an hour after meeting some of the family and so enjoyed talking. Caribbean secret - a little biters and nutmeg in everything!

I love staying at Fort Burt Hotel in Roadtown , BVI....It was a wonderful vacation last year. The location is great close to the water ferry, aand town area. I love the ocean view as we sat enjoying our breakfast. The food and drinks were excellent!!! The staff was very friendly, informative and caring. The only down side of this... More
