My husband and I arrived with our room not ready. The girls at the front desk weren't very helpful or knowledgable about things we inquired about. That being said the pool suite we booked was great. The view is amazing. We went off season so the hotel was empty. We had dinner there one night and we were the only... more

Yes there are lot's of steps to your room from the reception lobby and the upkeep is not 4star, but the room was very clean and had a comfy bed . The VIEW was incredible, as Hotel is at the entrance to harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is associated with the local community colleges' culinary... more

Our first room didn't have running water because they were working on it, so they gave us Rm 104 above the kitchen area, above the ventilation fan. We told them it was noisier than our Manhattan apt., so they told us the only room available was the deluxe room, which was very nice, and we took. We enjoyed the stay,... more

We arrived at Fort Burt tired from a full day of travel. The taxi dropped us off and we had to carry all of our heavy luggage and dive gear up several flights of stairs, just to get to the lobby. No one was there to assist. The lady at check in was sort of smug and not very accomidating,... more

We stayed at Fort Burt in a pool suite in May 2006. The private pool was great. It was big and overlooked Road Town Harbor. The room was modest, but probably comparable or better than other Road Town Hotels. I have not stayed at other Road Town Hotels, but just from my on-line research. The bathroom looked to be recently... more

We were 3 couples staying at Fort Burt before chartering a cat at BVI Yacht Charters. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful location, the excellent food and the friendliness of the staff. Their were very helpful also when a unusually strong rainstorm flooded the city in the morning, lending us their own umbrellas, calling a cab when it was... more

I loved this quaint yet elegant hotel. The use of a fort to provide the best vistas of Road Town, F. Drake Channel and the south islands goes back to navy and pirate strategies of protection from all angles. I love that view! Choose to return after our sailing trip and the both nights were great. The Cooking School is... more

Stayed here before catching a flight home to the UK so it served a function but was not somewhere that I would choose to spend a prolonged amount of time. When you arrive (make sure you get the taxi to take you right up the huge hill) your bags are driven to your room by a grumpy man in a... more

It's cheap, we paid $99, but it's a terrible hotel by any measure. In a state of disrepair, unclean and indifferent. Be prepared to climb a bunch of stairs whenever you go. Thank goodness we only had to sleep there, but our 10 hours felt a lot longer. more

We stayed at the Ft. Burt Hotel in March, 2004 after a Moorings bareboat charter. Our room was immaculate and had a great view. We paid about $100/night. When we wanted lunch in the restaurant, they had a buffet only. When the staff found that we just wanted sandwiches, they happily provided these at a reasonable price. The price one... more
