The highlights are the cozy lounge area, the swimming pool with swim-up bar, Friday night trivia night, and free welcome drink. The pool side rooms have a front bed/couch area, a bedroom area, and a back couch area. They are very large and can easily accommodate 4 people with some privacy. The honeymoon suite is a very large room with... more

I visited the Tamarind a while ago when I married in the BVI's. I came back to the website because I want to return and was a little shocked at the negative respose people gave. You really should read and review the places you choose to vacation. This was never advertised as 5 star resort and with common sense you... more

A group of us stayed in the Tamarind club for 3 nights after a sailing holiday. It was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight drawback was the need to protect from mosquitoes as soon as the sun went down. The Brunch on Sunday when we arrived was great as was the music and the... more

As along as you don't have to spend anytime in your room, you may not be disappointed. The hotel property is old and is in need of renovation. The pool was pretty nice. The beach is about a mile down the road. We had dinner at their resturant, which was good. The bar area was ok. There are 4 property... more

This was recommended by our sailing company as a place to stay before and after our week long cruise. We booked the honeymoon suite for both dates six months in advance. We arrived on Friday night approximately 7 pm-went to the bar and were told our room was not available despite confirmation. We were given a poolside garden suite. The... more

Staying at the Tamarind is very much like staying at home, but in paradise. The Tamarind Club is a family owned and operated little resort hotel where You will feel like part of the family. Its not at all like staying at a snooty high end resort, its like home...But more relaxing..Its the place to go to get away from... more

I booked this vacation for myself and a very, very sick relative. I had no problem booking my room. When I showed up at the secluded and beautiful Tamarind Club; all our expectations were surpassed. This jewel of a quaint hideaway; gave me the escape we needed. I stayed in a room close to the pool; and it had all... more

Welcome to the Tamerind club: We arrived late due to airport problems. We weren't greeted by anyone. Finally got our room @ 10:00pm The locals were drinking and smoking at the bar with the police, my wife and kids sure had that safe feeling. The room was filthy and had bugs. Another possitive for my family experience. We were taken to... more
