We sailed through the BVIs last month through SunSail and made it a point to stay at the Bitter End for two nights. I must say the food, service and atmosphere was 100 times better at Saba Rock than at the Bitter End (though it is truly a beautiful resort). We were traveling with an infant and by the end... more

Just got back from the Virgin Islands. Our first stop was Virgin Gorda and Saba Rock. This is a great place to stay. The scenery is fabulous, rooms very nice, and the staff friendly. What other resort has the GM greet you upon arrival? They can water taxi you to the beach at Prickly Pear and activities at the Bitter... more

My wife and I stayed on “the Rock” for the first 3 days of our honeymoon (July 16 – July 19, 2007). This being our first trip to the BVI we wanted to spread our stay out between the North Sound, Virgin Gorda (Nail Bay), and Tortola (Marina Cay). Of the three places we stayed Saba Rock is the one... more

We have bareboated through the Moorings in the BVI for 4 of the last 7 years. The North Sound is a consistent destination and we have typically picked up a mooring from the Bitter End Yacht Club. This year we chose a mooring at Saba as it was cheaper and came with a free bag of ice and 250 free... more

You will not be disappointed by staying at Saba Rock. My husband and I stayed for 7 glorious days back in February 2007. The staff was wonderful and very accomodating. The grounds are immaculate and the location is IDEAL. We had rented a car for the week, but didn't really need it except to go to the Baths and a... more

Great fun! My Wife and I had a ball. It was the best vacation we have had in years. We rented a moorings sailboat for a week and then came back and spent five days on the little island of Saba Rock, in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda! They treated us like King and Queen. Thanks David and Staff.... more

We sailed into Gorda Sound the second week of January 2005 for the first time. Like everyone else I had heard about the Bitter End Yacht Club and was quite anxious to visit. The BEYC is a very impressive facility, quite large with countless services, but I was very intriqued by the somewhat isolated structure to the north, situated on... more

From the incredible setting, literally over the water, to the great food, fabulous people, and extensive "Rocktail" menu...this place has it all. It blew away all my expectations...if I won the lottery tomorrow, i'd move there! more
