My husband and I traveled to St. Marteen in June, 2009. We've been to the island a few times on a port-of-call from a cruise; but this time we wanted to fly and stay. We stayed at the Royal Palm Beach Resort for one week and wished we stayed longer! We booked a 2 bedroom unit - #8424. Two friends... more

This was by far the best trip I have been on. i was a little skeptical by some of the past reviews of the Royal Palm, but was delighted to see that it really is a great hotel. Let me start off by saying it is the offseason so yes there was some maintence, but they were out of the... more

After reading some of the reviews regarding the Royal Palm, I was a little apprehensive but found the resort to be clean, friendly, and fun. The rooms are spacious and well stocked. We found the staff to be very friendly, responsive and helpful our entire 15 day stay. Yes, they are doing some painting and maintenance but they really try... more

St. Martin is a great little island with a variety of cultures, shopping, and gorgeous waters. The Royal Palm, however, is overpriced. It needs a good overhaul and cleaning for the exterior but the rooms themselves are great. And the view is unbelievable. We took a red eye from California and got there at 2:00pm. We called ahead and made... more

I have to admit that after reading the reviews on this site, I was purely skeptical. I also have to admit that after staying at the RPBS for a week, it was FANTASTIC! The front desk clerks were amicable and very informative. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Jennifer and Michael at the Cabana Bar were wonderful. The... more

My husband arrived at the Royal Palm on 5/31 and were only staying for 3 days/2 nights. We had just spent 7 days on Anguilla and were spending time in St Maarten at the end of the trip. We were able to book the room through my parents - they are timeshare owners with Diamond Resorts. We will just say... more

Just got back from the Royal Palm in Simpson Bay. We stayed 10 days. They are still working on the elevators, but it was clean. The units are really big. They put in all new bedding. The food at the resort is a good value & it's always very good. We love the pool & the swim up bar. Also... more

This resort is in the best location on the island. Plenty of resteraunts and onsite amenities. The pool is pretty small and the ocean water is very rocky, however the rooms are wonderful with plenty of room and modern facilities. We have been to the island 4 times and this is the best resort we have stayed at yet. Don't... more

As usual, some reviews on here had me feeling cautious. But I was very happy with our stay at the Royal Palm Beach. Our condo had obviously been renovated recently. The beds were plush and comfy, the bathrooms spacious. Most of the staff was quite helpful and hard-working. The location is perfect, right across the street from lots of restaurants... more

First of all I would like to say that that WE HAD A BALL IN ST.MAARTEN at THE ROYAL PALM BEACH RESORT. I was in St.Maarten with my wife, my daughter, my neice, my sister and one of my main partners. At first I wasn't to sure that the resort was going to work for us because it was vvery... more
