I've been to St. Martin many times, and continue to go back b/c it's so hospitable, with plenty of things to do. If this was my first trip, I'd never go back. The Atrium is in need of updating. The place looks like it stepped out of the 70's and hasn't been updated since. Generally the staff is ok, with... more

The Atrium was in Simpson Bay with some rooms overlooking the bay.We were not so lucky and had a view of the back of a casino and lots of construction. One of the good things was the little market across the street (Bare Essentials) good prices and was handy. Also the car rental was across the street.Made it easy.We also had problems... more

1. I was supposed to have an ocean front view. When I checked in they told me there were no ocean front or ocean view rooms. They specifically told me RCI told them to put me in room 503—a hillside view. 2. TV was broken in bedroom. 3. Low water pressure in shower. 4. Toilet doesn’t flush properly. 5. Faucet... more

We stayed in the Atrium for Spring Break in March 2009. We had two rooms with a connecting foyer. Our first night was the last night of the Heinekin Regada, where there was a free concert literally right in front of the Atrium, and we heard the Wailers. The second night the resort had free snacks/alcoholic drinks for owners of... more

We stayed in unit 802 from Feb 28 to Mar 7. We really enjoyed the resort. The rooms were clean and neat. I gave this a 4 star because of the employees. The rooms are a very nice size. It might not be a 5 star, but it was all that we needed. The view is awesome. We had two... more

My wife and I were last here in over new year 05/06. We liked the Atrium so much that when we returned to St. Martin this spring, we went out of our way to find a good deal to get back in. The best deal was to be found with a flight/hotel combo on Expedia - much cheaper than their... more

Stayed at the Atrium in February while on a tour of the Carribean. It's a clean and tidy place but with very basic facilities. The people there are very polite and helpful but you have to go for a walk if you want anything. The pool bar was closed for renovation while I was there but there is a small... more

We travel to a different island in the Caribean every January and are pretty accustom on what to expect. The reviews here really helped. For an update, The Atrium is a 2, maybe 2 1/2 star hotel (not a resort) on a small section of Simpson Bay. It reminded us of a Days Inn. The rooms have tile floors throughout,... more

Our family of three (all adults) stayed for eight nights in a one bedroom apartment at the Atrium. The resort is a comfortable hotel with spacious apartments and full kitchens. The hotel is clean and there is daily housekeeping service with fresh linen and towels daily. This is not a posh resort, but one that is reasonably well maintained but... more

The Atrium boasted spacious and clean rooms. Views of the beach as well as the beach itself was nice. The Housekeeping staff was quite good. However, the front-desk staff was generally rude and most un-helpful. There are a couple of places within walking distance of the resort that I would highly recommend: Restaurant /Bar "Toppers", and the upscale nightclub "The... more
