I am writing this to prevent others from going through what we did. We just got back and we changed hotels from this hotel after 2 nights. There is a dock being built right at the resort and the LOUD noise starts at 7:30am. The building is OLD, the bed is HARD, and there are no amenities. The person at... more

We checked in and checked out in 10 minutes. Room smelled, was dirty, had hole in bathroom wall, burner on stove was broken, construction going on outside our balcony. Entrance is between 2 store fronts on Front Street. Not luxurious at all, We checked into Great Bay Hotel and Casino and paid for 7 days there. Sea Palace was our... more

The Sea Palace is an older hotel/timeshare located at the end of the boardwalk with a lovely oceanfront beach and terrific view of the Great Bay and incoming cruise ships. Chairs and umbrellas provided. You can walk the beachfront boardwalk to several places to eat and imbibe in refreshments along the way. As for the "beach dogs".I did not find... more

This "resort" is old and not well maintained. The staff was friendly. The furnishings were OK except for the bed which desperately needed a new mattress. It is located in the town on a busy one way street. If you rent a car, there is no parking available except for on the street. Rental cars are regularly broken into at... more

We stayed at the Sea Palace Oct 24 - Nov. 01 2008 ( an exchange through Interval International ) Our clean one bedroom unit was large with 2 bathrooms, kitchen/dining area, living room and a large deck. We utilized the safe located in the unit.. Our unit was #301 facing the ocean, and provided us with an excellent view of... more

The staff at the Sea Palace tred to create a welcoming feeling and to compensate for what is a three star (at best) venue in need of some structural work, however the time share board members preen about like peacocks and try to create a "club like" atmosphere for themselves. It would be better to visit on a non-holiday week... more

We went here for our honeymoon through a timeshare. They gave us a room facing the back alley which is not a very nice view. If you are going to stay here make sure you have a view of the beach. The bathroom was filthy when we got there but they were very quick about getting it cleaned for us.... more

I went with my mom, and 2 really good friends. We had a blast and will be going back. The hotel staff was soooooo nice and helpful. They had an orientation at the beginning of our stay to inform us of all the tours the island offered..and all the must see places to go! Our room was beautiful & spacious.... more

I have have had timeshare at the Sea Palace, St. Maarten since 1990. Friends and I have gone there every year. We THINK about trading, but never do. The reason is simple. The hotel management and staff have become like a family. They do everything they can to make our stay in our "second home", comfortable. Every year we are... more

When it comes to feeling at home .. away from home ... I can't imagine any place creating that feeling for me more so than the Sea Palace and their trusted staff. I have been stayin with the Sea Palace for over 20 years. Originally I was a bit disappointed but that was short-lived ... the "glamerous, amenity-full, deluxe" accomodations... more
