We enjoyed our stay at The Sea Palace this past Week Oct 4th - Oct 11th 2014, The rooms were huge with Direct Ocean Views from the Large Balcony. This Hotel is in the process of renovating but was very comfortable and steps from the beach. The staff was excellent and very attentive to all our needs. The one person... More

A mixed group of four mid 40's to early 50's women traveling on a “girls week” decided St. Maarten was where we wanted to try next. Three of us had been to St. Maarten for a cruise ship port of call but not for a whole week. We chose to stay at the Sea Palace because of the boardwalk and... More

Spent a week here 9/27-10/4. There were renovations going on ,not too noisy. I don't know what the renovations consisted of but hopefully they replaced the soiled chair seats in dining area, thry were not very appealing. Bed was not very comfortable;small things like broken toilet paper holder. Staff here are very helpful&friendly. Off season, not much going on at this end... More

The staff at the Sea Palace was excellent. They helped us set up several of our outings while there, including calling to arrange a car rental for a day, and an awesome snorkeling trip (Eagle Tours, Eco-Tour; will be writing another review for that). I wish they had more experience with things around the island, but they had good advice... More

We loved the Sea Palace the location was perfect. It is in Phillipsburg not Simpson Bay so it is quite laid back. The staff could not have been friendlier, more helpful, more accomodating, or professional. They are our new friends. The roo was clean although in desperate need of a remodel ( maybe next year) The view from the huge balcony... More

Special THANKS to Joe, Lissette, Eddie, Hector, Noel, Michelin, Ondina and staff at the Sea Palace. The staff is very responsive to requests and concerns; they are also very friendly, hard-working and professional. Service with a smile indeed on the Friendly Island. We stayed in room 504 for 1 week, then room 302 for another week, both 1br/2ba. 504 has... More

My timeshare arranged a week long stay at the Sea Palace, 30 Aug-6 Sep 2014. The hotel is doing heavy construction and if you don't mind the hammering, jacksaw drilling, and constant construction noise, everyday, as early as 9 am and as late as 4:30 pm, or the outdated, but spacious rooms, then you will be fine. We had a... More

This hotel is centrally located in the shopping area downtown on Front St. This is great for shopping (jewellery, electronics, souvenirs) as well as this is the location all cruise ships dock. However, after everything closes (i.e.around 5pm) the place is absolutely dead quiet. The better location to stay that I recommend which is closer to the airport, and has... More

We stayed hete for two weeks and overall had a great experience! The first week we stayed in a stuido facing the street, but it also had side views of the ocean. The room was basic, but very clean and met our needs. The oven was a big downfall- all of the grates were tilted, it was difficult to cook... More

Suites with terraces overlooking the Great Bay can't be beat. Our unit consisted of one bedroom, two baths, a living room, dining area and kitchen with two terraces, one facing south and one west. They are in the process of gutting every suite down to bare walls. A brand new kitchen, baths, windows, doors, tile flors, appliances, washer/dryer were here... More
