Located on Front Street, at the edge of Philipsburg directly on the Great Bay, on the Dutch side of the island. Attractive newly painted 8-storey building. We stayed in 702A (top floor; floors are numbered in European system where ground floor is zero). It was a 1-Bedroom, 2-bath, with a loft, a well equipped full kitchen, and a spacious balcony... I gave the Very Good rating based on the beach facility and being on the Boardwalk. If they do the renovations they have planned this will be a wonderful resort in St. Maarten. Currently, I will be truthful, the condos are dated. The furniture is very nice I think they have replaced the furnishings and put on a few coats... More

This older hotel is quaint and clean. Room 601 A had an amazing view and the newly renovated huge balcony and view from it was AMAZING! My husband and I would get up every morning and have our coffee and watch the cruise ships come in. Our room was spacious nicely decorated and clean. That being said, it could use... More

I don't even know where to start when it comes to the Sea Palace. This year was our second stay at the Sea Palace. We are members of TAN, and this is one of their available properties. If you are someone who is looking for a four star resort, or an all inclusive with tons of amenities, it isn't your... More

We loved staying at the sea palace. ...great location...beautiful beach! Room was fine with 2 balconies. We certainly would return. Only issue was finding a place to park...just have to have patience.

Stayed January 19th-25th and was impressed the moment I entered. Lissette provided very personalized service the entire week. My room had the most amazing view and more than ample space and very nicely furnished. Large balcony overlooking the bay. And most beautiful views offered in the area. Perfect location on the beach with immediate access to numerous restaurants, beach bars,... More

went on jan. 11-18, 2014 the view from the street side balcony was miserable., like being in India. Bathroom was a joke, would not even consider going to this timeshare ever again. elevator barely works, neighborhood is terrible, look out your balcony to see the neighbors across the street sitting on their couches or hanging their laundry. traded a ocean... The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. This is an older time-share that has just undergone entensive renovations bringing it up to date. Small and intimate on the beach with beautiful views and sunsets. Walk out the door to Front Street and great shopping. Center of town with Great Bay Beach at your back door.

We spent a week in Sea Palace in December 2013. Here are our observations: 1. The location is great; close to minibuses, town, boardwalk, next to beach, town, small supermarkets etc. 2. The staff is jaded and did not want to be bothered. They helped us without being friendly. Unpleasant, but efficient. No big deal. 3. We liked our room.... More

Inexplicably received an email informing me that the hotel was overbooked and they picked me as the one whose reservation they would not honor. As a "solution", they offered another hotel somewhere at twice the cost. Stay away from this place. Completely unethical.
