The Good: • Best beach on the island. Period. • You can use the amenities (restaurants, pool, shops) of the Divi Resort next door. • Philipsburg shopping is in the next bay over but you still feel secluded in Little Bay • Watch all the cruise ships come and go! The Bad: • Bel Air is severely dated. • Rooms... More

The property and our experience with the staff and amenities was very subpar. Maybe 30 years ago this place was a higher quality resort, but definitely not now. It is in desperate need of remodeling, renovation and modernization. The pool is possibly the worst I've seen at any resort or hotel in recent memory. Basically it was an oversized bath... More

This place is more than just dated. Their attitude fits this place. I am not sure how RCI could possibly come up with a silver crown rating for this place. Their check-out is absolutely ridiculous. You have wait in a long line to give them back the key to their dated safe along with the remote controls to their TV.... More

The Belair is by far the best place I have ever vacationed. The facilities were wonderful. The beach was awesome. We went to every beach on the island and from now on I'll just stay with this one...not other beach is needed. I echo everything Jeff from Phoenix said, and add that the staff went out of their way to... More

My family and I just got back from one week in St Maarten at the Belair Beach Hotel. We had two boys 10 and 12, in addition to my wife and me. I have to say it exceeded all my expectations. I nice 2 bedroom unit with an unbelievable balcony with a fantastic view of the beach. This beach in... More

Just returned from a week in St Maarten where we traded our time share for the Belair Beach Hotel. The reviews were mixed when we looked on TripAdvisor and I have to say we side with those who didn't find this a location that we would recommend. The site wasn't well kept, it looked like very little was being done... More

My wife and I just returned from a weeks exchange with RCI. We had a room on the third floor, and right on the end looking down at the pool and Gingerbread Café. As we spent most of our time outside, and on our balcony we were able to enjoy all of what was going on down below. Our problem... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Belair Beach Hotel. We communicated with the staff in advance of our trip to find out what was stocked in the the room and they answered us promptly so that we could come prepared. We also took advantage of Starlite car rental which is located at the hotel. They not only met us... More

I have owned timeshare here for about 25 years. The view from my room is phenomenal, a few short steps to the beach and the sea, family friendly but adult travelers will love it as well, the staff remains year after year and remembers you, if not by name they know your likes, dislikes, and needs, Gingerbird Cafe on site... The Belair Beach Hotel prides themselves on having the cleanest and prettiest beach and it is. My wife and I spent 9 days on the island and went to almost every beach there was and at the end of the trip we had both decided that the best sand and water was at our hotel. The snorkeling was also amazing... More
