This place is an old favorite for lots of folks, and we found out why. It's right on the beach, has a very fun beachfront bar, and is really charming. We loved our two day stay while we waited for our liveaboard diving boat to dock to pick us and friends up for a week of diving. more

Stayed for the 4th time from feb 8th - 19th, Everyone was helpful and could not do enough for us. The relaxing atmosphere especially after 4ish once all the Cruise ship passengers have departed is so chilled out, the mainly adult guests meant no children screaming and playing up which you get at other resorts. Grilled Lobster in the Restaurant... more

My husband and I stayed at the Pasanggrahan while we were honeymooning in St. Martin. We wanted to stay in a hotel that had local charm, as opposed to an American resort chain, and we were very pleased with our choice! Our room had a beautiful view of the bay and the staff was friendly and accommodating. In fact, when... more

Great location, friendly staff. Rustic accomodations, but very confortable beds and great view of the beach. Specialty rooms on the 3rd floor are very nice. Restaurant serves a good breakfast at reasonable prices. We immediatley rebooked for our next trip after staying here the first time. Close to all downtown shopping and casinos. Visit the beach bars nearby; several to... more

We stayed for 6 nights in mid-March. We have only positive feelings about the inn, less so about Dutch Sint Maarten. Location is perfect for anyone who prefers the "old" Sint Maarten versus the Las Vegas/Atlantic City developments outside of downtown that appear to have sucked the life (and customers) away from "old" Sint-Maarten. If you don't need or want... more

Stayed for 6 nights. Room is charming. King size bed overlooking the ocean was amazing. Bartender is friendly and gave us free drinks a couple times. Front desk is very friendly. We think there was a bed bug or two, but if you cant handle a mosquito bite then too bad. If renting a car, rent the smallest one you... more

I just returned from a 4 day St Maarten vacation and had picked the Pasanggrahan Hotel from CNN travel site and also used the Trip Advisor reviews to help my hotel decision. As I've never been to St Maarten before I wanted a central location with easy access to the beach ie walking distance without the fuss of taxis or... more

i stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in january. they gave me room #11 and at first glance i thought it was wonderful to have such a large (2-story) room. but then i realized that i kichenette seemed unusable, the wiring in the room was makeshift (extension cords everywhere), shower had virtually no pressure and there were bed bugs.... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pasanggrahan. We stayed here two nights before moving to the French side for the rest of our vacation. The price was right. We had a great dinner there and the staff was extra accomodating. A real plus is being able to shop and explore Phillipsburg without the hassel of parking and traffic. The... more

A sweet and charming old hotel with great service and charming staff. The room we were in was a little dowdy but perfectly clean and with a great view over the harbor. A coat of paint in the bathroom wouldn't have gone amiss. If you're staying on the Dutch side of the island (which is far more commercial than the... more
