My wife and I stayed there about 10-12 years ago. It is on the French side so some distance from the airport. Most of the hotels were on the Dutch side. We had the best time ever. Slow down to island time and enjoy the hottest beach in the islands. Orient beach was wild. If you can find it on a beach you can find it here. The french staff was frindly and helpful. We have made plans to return.
