Nice trip. Nice stay. Staff friendly. Great location. Couldn't hear the planes even though they fly by. Awesome pools. It's relaxing. Very simple. Youre out the whole day anyway so this is place to relax by the pool head to the nearest beach or start your adventure.

My husband & I have been going to this resort since they opened the new one. Yes there are problems BUT you will not find a better place with the views. The best of both worlds. Awesome ocean view or airport views. We stay here because we love the location. Love watching the planes coming into St. Maarten. Some people... More

Don't want to spend to many words on this one... As mentioned in almost all other reviews: lots of problems here. No working elevators, dusty rooms, lack of service at the front desk. They're lucky they have a nice pool with a beautiful view over the ocean. Bartender Marty and girlfriend Lori are great! They're trying so hard to make... More

From the moment of arrival to check in it started, it was myself, my child who is handicapped and a friend who needed the vacation as much as I. They informed me that my room was on the 4th floor and it would had not been a problem if they had working elevators, in which I was informed at that... More

Most of the reviews you read are true! Room felt somewhat musty and had mold issues. The floor felt moist and sticky when we got in. We called the front desk to report it and needed extra towels. The young man there replied he'd send housekeeping but sadly no one came despite a reminder. We had to pick towels from... More

We returned for a week stay and it will be our last. There are rumors of bankruptucy and leins on the property. The last two torn umbrellas were removed while we were there and not replaced. The lounge chairs are more like hammocks, and picutres had been removed from the walls in our 1 bedroom unit. No elevators as mentioned.... More

We paid $195 for one night. I would think that $100 would be more like it. It was a four or five story building with no elevators. The Mosquitos were hellacious. They could have afforded a can or two of spray or some other form of control. Even the hotel lobby was heavily beset. There was no hotel phone in... More

My wife and I stayed at this resort May 10-17, 2014. We had a studio unit (C405) and paid all in about $110/night. First I will agree with a lot of what has been said, elevator did not work, but fortunately we are young and in decent shape so this was not a big issue. And yes the incomplete construction... More

Unfortunately, my wife and I are currently staying at Caravanserai in our 1-bedroom, 3rd-floor unit for two weeks. Elevatiors not working in either of the two completed buildings (of the four that have been under construction for the last few years. The 80% completion claim on their website is a joke. Perhaps they mean 80% of the original two buildings.... More

Caravanserai still remains one of the most accessible options for accommodation in St. Maarten (at a low price). It's literally within walking distance to everything you could need when on the island, restaurants, clubs, bars, casinos, supermarket and public transportation to Philipsburg. Of course one of the better options would be the plane spotting at Princess Juliana ... the hotel... More
