My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in April 2008 with our 11 month old son. We chose it largely because of its child friendly policy combined with fantastic location. The Jalousie is a great resort, stunning setting between the Pitons with a lovely beach on the edge of rainforest. We had a villa which was clean and... more

We were a bit apprehensive to stay in such a large hotel and on an All Inclusive deal: Not our usual cup of tea but Jalousie exceeded all our expectations. We stayed in Villa 312, which like all villas had its own plunge pool. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but waht does that matter? The gardens are magnificent,... more

I wanted to write a review, as reading some people's view on what I considered is a luxurious hotel and beautiful setting, before travelling, I didn't feel did Jalousie justice. We stayed in the mountain villas, and it was more than enough"luxury"for me. I accept that some elements were 'worn' but this gives it criticism that it doesn't deserve. We... more

We decided to stay at the Jalousie Plantation as my parents had stayed there eight years ago and said that it was wonderful. After reading mixed reviews we decided to make our own minds up when we arrived. The location of this hotel amazing and totally romantic! Cocktails great! We had an excellent holiday and the resort is truly beautiful,... more

You should go here for the location. Its stunning. The beach is worth the price all on its own. Villas are ok, do not stay in 500 or 600 block(no views). 900's are new and looked great. We stayed in 302 and had a view of the ocean the beach and Grand Piton. Stunning. The villa was adequate. Had a... more

My wife and I just returned from our week’s vacation in St. Lucia. We spent 5 days at the Jalousie Plantation and 2 days at the Body Holiday LeSport. To sum up our week, it was as close to perfect as any vacation we’ve ever had. I did quite a bit of research on St. Lucia and the Jalousie and... more

We went April 6-13, 2008. We arrived tired and cranky after going from SFO to Toronto then onto St. Lucia and while everyone else was getting into a taxi, we were renting a car which took about an hour and a half. FYI the rate was 2.7 to 1 USD. Bring a copy of your reservation to get the right... more

My wife and I recently completed n 8 night stay at the Jalousie and we both agreed that it more than lived up to our expectations. Thanks, in part, to this forum, we pretty much knew what to expect with respect to the views and proce and quality of the food. What we really didn't expect though was how friendly... more

We have just returned from a week at the Jalousie and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there. I had been anxious having read some of the negative reviews, such as the one complaining about the spiders! We didn't see any at all! The hotel is set in the valley between the Pitons, and the rooms, (more like little individual houses on roads... more
