Be Careful. They are completely rebuilding this hotel and all of the cottages. There is a constant din of building work, many areas of the hotel are not available, and to cap it all the food is completely average. Dont go until they complete the building work in 2011 more

Amazing beach, and the best service I have ever experienced in the carribbean. Stay in a Sugar Mill room. They are a little dated, but they are a great location, very short walk everywhere, and very comfortable. We never waited more than 60 seconds for any shuttle. The food was excellent. I don't have a single complaint other than the... more

We did not use the all inclusive option due to the very high add on cost and our desire to try to experience the variety of the cuisines on the island. We rented an excellent 4wheel drive automatic jeep for 11 days to accomplish our adventures, enjoy more local venues and grocery stores in Soufriere and Fort Vieux. Jalousie is... more

If you're looking for a more mellow, relaxing and romantic trip, this is the place to go. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach and enjoying the unbeatable view of the two largest pitons on the island. It is secluded from other parts of the island, but there are plenty of activities such as the waterfalls, botanical gardens and sulphur springs... more

I loved the Jalousie so much when we went in October 2007 that I am now completely at a loss as to what it would be like to go back, having read so many conflicting reviews. It seems that all the things we loved then are still applicable, and some things are improving. I don't think I would go again... more

We picked this hotel following recommendations from friends - and we're so glad we did! We were surprised to hear other reviewers moan about the building works; we were aware that the work was happening but it wasn't intrusive at all. The reviewer that said it was like "Holidays from Hell on the TV" must have mistaken this hotel for... more

My boyfriend and I just got back from staying a week at Jalousie. We wanted something different from just the Sandals resorts that just seem like a chain. I have never stayed in one, so I may be missing something, but anyway. Jalousie was a really unique different place from where I have ever stayed before. When we arrived at... more

I have just returned from a 10 night all-inclusive stay at the Jalouise Plantation and it was spectacular! On arrival we were upgraded to villas with private plunge pools, which was a great start to the holiday! The location is breath taking as the hotel is situated directly between the two pitons. We were very impressed with the Water Sports... more

My girlfriend and I arrived at the UVF, we were able to get a taxi within seconds of stepping out of customs. Very scenic drive to the Jalousie Plantation, but its important to note that the roads are comparable to a slow roller coaster ride. It was a 45 minute drive to our destination and costed 75 US dollars. Upon... more
