we visited soufriere to have lunch & see the view of the Pitons. The salads Niceoise was very tasty and the beer was cold. Service was polite but on island time, the bill reasonable. Looked around the very small resort, I would not choose to stay there.

I'm a local who absolutely loves Soufriere! And Hummingbird is of my favorite stops in the town. Not only is the food amazing, the staff absolutely accommodating, the cocktails cold and refreshing... the view ... is spectacular! A sunset from Hummingbird is never taken for granted! Hummingbird is actually located on the Soufriere beach, and the tallest of the two... More

We had 2 experiences dining at the Hummingbird resort. For dinner the first night, once we had ordered they told us they were out of shrimp (???). We changed our order. Then they were out of the wine we ordered. No problem, ordered a different bottle. The food was actually pretty good that we did receive, but of course the... More

Drove down to the Hummingbird after spending 4 nights at the Bay Gardens in Rodney Bay (separate review). This area and town is A LOT different than Rodney Bay. It’s more of a local area with few touristy attractions on the water or in town. The Hummingbird grounds are lush and very very pretty. The pool was small and clean... More

I stayed at the Hummingbird Beach Resort and enjoyed my stay so much. This hotel is suituated in Soufriere which has all the natural attractions and the best of all, the Pitons can be seen from your hotel. No need to go looking for it. The views from the rooms are epic!! The food by Chef David is amazing!! Great... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Hummingbird....The friendliness and hospitality of the staff really stood out along with excellent food from their restaurant. The view from the resort was beautiful. It is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the busy tourist areas and there is alot to do and see within close proximity....

On a second visit, we stayed five nights in Hummingbird Beach resort and had a wonderful visit. The owner and the staff were kind and helpful. The pool area is very pleasant and the the restaurant excellent (not cheap) and the cottages simple but lovely. The beauty and the peaceful environment was a few times disturbed by the loud music... A fantastic location set in the "real heart" of St Lucian culture. The beach is adjacent to the hotel and facilities and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good and the restaurant and bar vey good. The pool is great for a cool off and the sunset from the pool area is just stunning! Thoroughly recommended, if... More

We spent 10 days at the Hummingbird and it was fantastic. It's got some amazing views both from rooms and the pool that you'd easily pay 7-10X more for at surrounding luxury resorts. Why you should stay here: It's centrally located and steps from the local beach. So it's easy to lounge poolside, walk into town, grab a taxi or... More
