We have recently come back to the UK after spending eight days on Honeymoon at Anse Chastanet, St.Lucia. I was very surprized to read two previous reviews by "Andrewcant304" and "nonetnut" who wrote about Anse Chastanet in a very negative and harsh way. Our experience of Anse Chastanet could not be more different to theirs! We have nothing but praise... more

We picked this resort because we did not want a 'sandals' type experience. Nothing wrong with that, but not our travel style. If you want to do nothing, be waited on, eat fresh, consistently well prepared seafood, fresh fruit beverages and quiet--this is your place! You can choose to be really active and do personal training, yoga, windsurfing, mountain biking, hiking... more

For our honeymoon, we went to Anse Chastanet as part of the ying and yang package, spending 4 nights here and 3 nights further up the mountain in Jade Mountain. We had pre booked a deluxe hillside room and I couldn't believe it when we arrived, the view from our massive room terrace was unbelievable... a panoramic view of the... more

We have just returned from Anse Chastanet, disappointed quite frankly. We planned a short trip to visit AC with a view to having our wedding there next year. It all began very well being met at the airport by their representative and quickly being taken to our transport. The journey is fine until you reach the last two miles of... more

The luxuriant tropical vegetation, the distant roll of the ocean waves, the intriguing sounds of the forest - I was beguiled by them all at this exceptional hotel in its remarkable location on a hillside a few miles outside laid-back Soufrière. So much so that I've now made 4 visits and I can't wait to make that 5. So what... more

We have just come back from Anse Chastanet, St.Lucia - we had stayed there once before many years ago and enjoyed it then, but were pleasantly surprised to see how the resort has developed over the years, losing nothing, gaining much! Dining choices have been expanded and we particularly liked the Indian-themed restaurant – so many choices on that dinner... more

My new husband and I stayed here for the first half of our two-week honeymoon and I regret to say that a stay at the Anse Chastanet was not as romantic as we had imagined. My husband booked a beach-side deluxe suite while imagining a beautiful comfortable beach villa that would open right onto the sand with a gorgeous view... more

It is hard to know where to begin... we first visited Anse Chastanet in May of 2004, fell in love there and with the place, so it was without much hesitation we made the decision that it would be the obvious destination for our wedding. With 50 family and friends, I believe that we had one of the largest weddings... more

Like expensive camping. Very difficult to sleep with no air conditioning, to catch a breeze we left door open, but very noisy wildlife! Only place to cool off is the ocean, no lobby or cafe. Every chair STRAIGHT backed and very uncomfortable, even in relaxing places like the bar. Built on a steep hill so must walk up and down... more

My husband and I stayed at Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain for our honeymoon May 31st-June 7th, 2009 on the Yin & Yang Total Romance (all-inclusive) package which included our first 4 nights at Anse Chastanet in a Hillside Deluxe room and our last 3 nights at Jade Mountain in a Moon category room. We paid around $8200.00 US dollars for our... more
