summersinn for me was a wonderful experience on my very first visit to st.lucia travelling from trinidad and tobago the owners miss Janna and husband mr.leon are truly friendly, from my arrival i was greeted very amicably and was immediately taken on a tour of the nearby mall and yeah (you guessed) ate a sumptous meal nearby, the apartment was just right for me no complains whatsoever, need to go back soon and see more of st.lucia. Clint.

The owner is a very nice lady. One of the best places I have stayed on my many visits to St. Lucia. I have been to Summers Inn twice across those visits. It is a little out with respect to catching bus as the main road is about 10 minutes walk however it promotes a little exercise and is very peaceful, has spacious and well furnished rooms with cable and kitchenette depending on which room you book. It is very close to the Beausejour Stadium, Rodney Bay Marina and the Gros Islet party spot which is on Friday nights. I enjoyed my stay here both times.

My first time to St. Lucia. Did not know what to expect. On arrival to airport the owner of Summers Inn Mr. Leon met us and assisted us with grocery shopping. Was very helpful. On arrival to the Inn met his wife Janna. They are very nice. What we needed to know and do they informed us. We were even able to catch the bus on our own by the second day. The treated us like family. Our room was spacious and clean. Had no problems. The area is so peaceful. Would recommend it to any one.

Visited St. Lucia with family of 3 from end of January to beginning of February for 8 days. 2 Adults & one child under 2 years old. Stayed in Summer’s Inn for the entire time. The owners of the villa picked us at the airport on time as we planned via email and dropped us back for a very cheap cost. Came to the villa, it was just a home away from home. No complaints at all. Felt very comfortable. Very clean, spacious room for all three of us. Got nice kitchenette, as per my request. Since I was making small meals for my toddler. Kitchen got everything you need. Gas burner, fridge, pans and pots you name it. However, no microwave. But, im sure if you request the owner they will accommodate. You can warm things on the gas burner. Washing was done at request by the owner. They will deliver dry clothes to you. There were people staying for short stay like us to long stay, say for 3-4 months. Owner got taxi services as well, if you want to go around the island for sightseeing, they know it all. Took us around the island for really cheap cost, showed us where to eat. I have done my research before we went to the island and everyone was charging more than what Leon was charging. We only asked for authentic St.lucian restaurants and they have pointed out some amazing spots to us. My mouth is watering thinking about those foods. Not only food, but also some own drinks like passion, mango, golden apple and sorrel drink. I was 3 months pregnant on this trip so I opt for all virgin drinks. This was far way tastier than having alcohol. Nevertheless, my husband had awesome local alcohol drinks as well. we didn’t miss a place on that island and covered all. I see in some previous posts, the people who have stayed there commented that they have car rental services. NO they don’t. You can only ask them to drive around as a taxi at a cost. The price you pay for the villa per night and all cost involved in sightseeing, purchase and eating out will be much cheaper than stay in all inclusive resort and eating all Americanized food. I highly recommend Summer’s INN for your next day in St. Lucia. You will want to go back. Richardson Leons the owner of the property is one nice man. He will take care of his guest like his family. You will not have any regrets.

Be aware. Transfer from/to airport or ferry which owners propose is overprised. Location is too far from everywhere: it's about 25 minutes from the nearest bus stop by foot. nearest shop - 20 minutes. nearest restaurant - 20 minutes. No hot water. Room was spacy but dirty. Room was filled with some crap - no opportunity to put your stuff because on each table on each surface is laying some crap. So we put all this crap to 1 corner and only after that could arrange our staff. Kitchen. You wan't believe me but there is almost anything that you need if we talk about equipment. But that's all. You'll not find matches to work with gas-oven, you will not find plastic bag for trash, you will not find oil, salt, sugar - you have to buy all these things. Sponged looks like they washed toilet with it. Bed. Bed is ok but pillows are awful. Bed linen old and dirty... with some smell. Wifi is ok. Noise. Each room has own conditioner. As you know, condtioners excrete water. We lived on the 1st floor and whole day and night we heared noise of falling water from the conditioners on the 2nd floor. OMG. the whole night: drip-drip-drip. And never-never. Never-ever. Never rent a car from owners. I do not recommend this place. And never will come back.
