We recently travelled to St Lucia on a combination biz/vacay trip and stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend. No illusions; we knew we were at a budget hotel and did not expect much. We found a very warm, friendly welcome from Anne Marie, the manager, and her staff. We were given a large, clean room with AC, a... More

My Girlfriend and I were traveling to Martinique and St.Lucia in February. We rather spend our money on special experiences than on hotels. The building itself is bit worn but It has the Caribbean flavour. It is up the hill through Gros Islet neighbourhood. We were taking this trip several nights during our stay and it was always very safe.... More

If this hotel was your only place to stay in St lucia, you would never return to the island. Terrible service, horrible rooms with worn and torn bedspread, a tv that had more snow then switzerland. It is the absolute BASIC of a basic hotel. To add insult to injury once you are discovered to be a tourist you will... More

We went there just for a weekend. I cant really say anything bad because it doesn't really cost that much. When we got to the room, the remotes for the TV and AC weren't working so we had to go back downstairs to the reception desk. The bathroom was dated but clean and the room was okay. My biggest disappointment... More

The hotel is up a steep hill and opposite what appears to be a young boys correction centre. We were constantly harrassed by the "inmates" every time we stepped onto the balcony. If they werent shouting at us then they were singing, yelling and fighting amongst themselves. There was no key for the safe, no tea and coffee making facilities... More

Writing this review causes a little bit of turmoil because I want to be completely fair to the hotel and staff, but at the same time avoid misleading potential guests. First and foremost, be clear that this is a 'no frills' hotel. We were not sure what to expect on arrival, as there were very few traveller reviews available for... More
