A beautiful place to take over with a group of friends. Clean rooms, have your own kitchen and living room areas and swimming pool. Lovely manager and security. Great view, on top of a hill. Easy to get to Rodney bay and castries. You can catch a local bus from the bottom of the road if you are ok with walking down (would not recommend to walk up the hill, or call for a taxi.

Our travel agent in Canada booked us at the Habitat Terrace for our three-week visit to St. Lucia, and we were so happy she did. The hotel is secluded up in the hills above Rodney Bay and Gros Islet, in an area called Bonne Terre. Very quiet. Beautiful gardens. Exceptional service from Angela, the Manager, and Yvonne, the housekeeper. Due to illness, the owner Cheryl Skeete is no longer involved. Somewhat of a negative is that there is rarely hot water for the shower, although it usually turns tepid after waiting for five minutes or so. We considered this a relatively minor inconvenience given all the pluses. The kitchen was well furnished, and we cooked most of our meals. But an EC$25 (US$10) taxi ride will take you down to the Rodney Bay Marina, where there is a slew of restaurants.

Spent 4 wonderful days at the Habitat terrace. Staff are impeccable. Location wise.it is better if you have transportation as it is high up in the hills.lucky we had a local driver called Joel his number is 716 6613 area code if needed is 001758 . He drove us around and picked us up on request. The only issue is for you to get Luke warm water in the shower, you do have to let it run continually for around 20mins. It seems like a waste of water. This was not an issue for as I found it rather refreshing. I did not sample breakfast.use of the pool although it is rather small, more plunge pool.

Our recent trip to St. Lucia was wonderful. The beautiful Habitat Terrace hotel was perfectly situated for easy access to Rodney Bay beach, the Marina, Pigeon Point, and other historic sites. Our hostess and her staff gave us a warm welcome and attended to our every need. From our balcony we had an awesome view of the Caribbean Sea, and in the mornings, we woke to song birds who visited us as we breakfasted. Habitat Terrace is very safe, private, and a perfect sanctuary. We highly recommend Habitat Terrace for your next vacation to St. Lucia.

Just one word: Famous Cheryl. Wonderful sweethearted woman who makes everything possible. And who is a very good cook! Whatever you need, just ask. If you need a rental car, take it via Sheryl. If you want to eat in a typical creole place, go there with her and take her along. The rooms are nice and clean. If you can afford it, take one of the suites with one or two bedrooms and big kitchen and balcony. Its worse it. Some things need a little renovating, like the still nice and refreshing pool, but there is nothing that wouldn't make you not come. We started our 3 month trip with our 2 years old baby there and were more than happy. Babybed is provided if needed. Supermarket is nearby and you can always ask that somebody takes you along if going there. If you go, try the ham and cheese paninis in the sports bar, 1st floor. Beds are big and on the hard side. AC works to its best and is (what is rare) not disturbing at all. Hot water comes from solar panels, so be prepared that if you have many rainy days without sun water can be sometimes not really hot. If you read negative things about the habitat terrace, do not forget that you will only receive what you are ready to give. Take this as an good advice, for your whole life :-) If we ever come back to St. Lucia we will def. stay with Cheryl. We love her.

I use this small hotel very often when I have groups, because it is very private, priced reasonably and the owner is very engaging. The rooms are very spacious and all are air-conditioned but if you prefer natural breeze you can just open the windows. There is a beautiful flower garden and the environment is ideal for the visitors who wish to experience St. Lucia. I normally use it for health retreats and it serves its purpose. The cost is reasonable and tours can be organised.

My visit to St Lucia was to attend the Jazz Festival. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Cheryl the owner of Habitat Terrace Hotel. My room was situated on the ground floor with balcony doors that opened out onto the garden, and access to the swimming pool area. The room was clean and suitable for two with self-catering facilities. However, there is a brilliant cook called Christine in which you can have a local creole or continental breakfast. (you must try!!) The garden was maintained impeccable by Karon. The housekeeper - Shirley, kept my room clean on a daily basis. This hotel is a little gem, and worth a stay. Cheryl was very informative, and if you required any information regarding St Lucia, in terms of tours - she would be very accommodating in supplying the information. Yes, the location is a little out, but its away for the hustle and bustle of Castries. Thank you to everyone that made my trip enjoyable. Would I visit again the answer is yes!!
