We wanted to experience the Atlantic side of the island on our 25th wedding anniversary before going on to an all inclusive resort. We could write a book about how great this place was and how John and Ellen were exceptional hosts. The cost was extremely reasonable!! Everything was clean, the food was outstanding and their interaction with us gave... more

The view of the Fond Bay is amazing ...there is a nice breeze... It was our first time that we stayed in a B&B... more

Our family of 7 (5 adults and two grandchildren) stayed one night en route to Hewanorra Airport. it is a lovely large new house (built in the style of a colonial villa) run by a really nice couple, John & Ellen. who couldn't do enough for us. The beautifully furnished rooms were spacious with high ceilings. No aircon but ceiling... more

When I stayed at Zamaca I was welcomed like a long lost friend by Ellen and John who are the most generous hosts I have met in many years travelling. Ellen's cooking is superb whilst John's effusive character is matched only by the strength of his very mean rum punch! Great little hotel; clean, comfortable and with stunning views of... more

What can we say, John and Ellen are superb hosts that are so easy to get along with. We were only here for one night, but we stayed up fairy late chatting with the two of them as if we had known them for years. Ellen's cooking is fabulous and the rum punch is probably the best we tried on... more

Date:30/01/08 Our stay at zamaca was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts Ellen and John were warm and friendly. We were treated like royalty and we felt like part of the family. The scenery at Zamaca is breathtaking. The place is very quiet, and the breeze makes it very cool and nice. Now the meals were to die for! With meals like this and... more

When my husband and I went to St Lucia this past March we fell in love with many things, but nothing could outshine the warmth and hospitality of John and Ellen at Zamaca. Ellen is the most amazing cook. My husband and I still think longingly back to some of the meals we ate at their table. I have never... more

Zamaca has an absolutely gorgeous location, high on a ridge overlooking Fond Bay and the beautiful unspoiled beach! We found it very well placed as a base for day trips to Castries, Pigeon Island, Soufriere, Marigot Bay and Vieux Fort. Ellen and John are a terrific couple, warm and welcoming and full of information about St. Lucia, its history and... more
