As all the reviews before have said, this hotel is the best. Melane is so friendly and helpful from the moment you book on line until you check out. The location right next to the small, noninvasive airport is right on a beautiful beach. We had a two room villa looking out onto the ocean and beautiful gardens. It is... More

This was our first trip to St Barts, and loved every minute. Melane and all the staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful, friendly and did everything they could to make this trip unforgetable. The property was immaculate. Rooms cleaned daily, breakfast delivered to your cottage and coffee available at the spotlessly clean pool. I really can't say enough about this place,... More

We have been several times to Les Ilets and will still go back....its the best option on the beach of St. Jean. With your private surrounding, kitchenette even a barbecue if you need one. Melane & Eric are great and will help you out with anything you may need.

We just returned from our 22nd stay at Les Ilets de la Plage. It was perfection as always. Melane, Eric, Lulu, Antoine and the rest of the crew are warm and welcoming. Friends came with us on this trip and fell in love with the villa, beach, and pool. While the fence at the airstrip now cuts the beach of... More

A real gem in the Caribbean! Our entire family fell in love with the charm and hospitality of Les Ilets de la Plage and can't wait to return. My wife and I along with our daughter, son-in-law and three granddaughters stayed in a spacious three bedroom 'cottage" with a unique and extremely comfortable open air kitchen/living room. The accommodations worked... More

Love love love this place. As its down a private road it's quite and sublime and totally perfect for a relaxing holiday. I also think its at the best end of the bay as its so quiet and peaceful and away from the touristy end. The water is clear as glass and the sand soft under your toes. There is... More

This review is the true result of seven days spent at one of the four the les islets chalés. Comment also applies to the larger ones, situated at the rear part of the area, in nothing jeopardizing this review, since we had the opportunity to visit them all, guided by a lovely manager, available at the moment ... Let us... More

We have been coming to St Barths for years and nothing compares to a stay at Les Islets de la Plage; and believe me we have stayed EVERYWHERE. Firstly, the experience is an authentic one filled with genuine beauty and caring from the staff, but especially from Melane. Secondly, the location is second to none, especially now that they have... More

Mother Nature handed St. Barth's some challenges this season, beach erosion and sagassum grass among them. Man also made his mark in the form of a fence recently, isolating the runway on St. Jean beach and effectively cutting it into two distinct beach areas. Unfortunately Les Ilets de la Plage was on the receiving end of all three, erosion that... More

Terrible, terrible experience. We have been going for over 3 years now. Owners refuse to spend money to clean the beach in front of the hotel, which is the only area when you can swim unless you want to drive somewhere. The water AND the beach are full of algae. The algae came from fire coral, so if you touch... More

We are very disappointed to read your review and would like to offer an explication and correct certain inaccuracies… There is indeed an issue this year in the Caribbean with Sargassum weed, it is not algae. Sargassum is a brown seaweed that comes from the Sargasso Sea which is a floating ecosystem in the middle of the Atlantic. At this... More
