A real gem in the Caribbean! Our entire family fell in love with the charm and hospitality of Les Ilets de la Plage and can't wait to return. My wife and I along with our daughter, son-in-law and three granddaughters stayed in a spacious three bedroom 'cottage" with a unique and extremely comfortable open air kitchen/living room. The accommodations worked... More

Love love love this place. As its down a private road it's quite and sublime and totally perfect for a relaxing holiday. I also think its at the best end of the bay as its so quiet and peaceful and away from the touristy end. The water is clear as glass and the sand soft under your toes. There is... More

This review is the true result of seven days spent at one of the four the les islets chalés. Comment also applies to the larger ones, situated at the rear part of the area, in nothing jeopardizing this review, since we had the opportunity to visit them all, guided by a lovely manager, available at the moment ... Let us... More

We have been coming to St Barths for years and nothing compares to a stay at Les Islets de la Plage; and believe me we have stayed EVERYWHERE. Firstly, the experience is an authentic one filled with genuine beauty and caring from the staff, but especially from Melane. Secondly, the location is second to none, especially now that they have... More

Mother Nature handed St. Barth's some challenges this season, beach erosion and sagassum grass among them. Man also made his mark in the form of a fence recently, isolating the runway on St. Jean beach and effectively cutting it into two distinct beach areas. Unfortunately Les Ilets de la Plage was on the receiving end of all three, erosion that... More

Terrible, terrible experience. We have been going for over 3 years now. Owners refuse to spend money to clean the beach in front of the hotel, which is the only area when you can swim unless you want to drive somewhere. The water AND the beach are full of algae. The algae came from fire coral, so if you touch... More

We are very disappointed to read your review and would like to offer an explication and correct certain inaccuracies… There is indeed an issue this year in the Caribbean with Sargassum weed, it is not algae. Sargassum is a brown seaweed that comes from the Sargasso Sea which is a floating ecosystem in the middle of the Atlantic. At this... More

First time staying here. This is a lovely property with clean rooms/villas. The villas have privacy even though they are situated very closely to one another. The common pool is nice and big, there is a lovely cabana and a very nice wooden deck. The pool is surrounded by palms. The beach during our trip was not really usable due... More

We stayed here in July 2014. Normally we rent a home/villa. We thought we would try Les Ilets de la Plage this time. The service was great, so accommodating when we needed anything at all! The villa was very clean and well kept. Our view was beautiful and the fresh pastries every morning were the best! The only thing I... More

This is was my first stay at this little paradise of a hotel! If you like quiet and the beach, this the place for you! No request was insignificant. Melane made it happen with a smile to boot! Every morning by 8AM, fresh croissants are delivered to your villa. There is a nespresso machine in the kitchen and if you... More

We have stayed at Les Ilets de la Plage every year except one since 1994. The reason that we return is simple--Les Ilets is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. While the staff has changed over the years, they are always charming and helpful--now with Eric and Melane as concierges. Groundskeeper Antoine takes beautiful care of the gardens, beach... More
