This was our 4th time in SB and 3rd time at Emeraude Plage. We really like this place, you don't need a car like when we stayed at Christopher as you have easy walking access to awesome beach, very nice restaurants like Eden Rock, fun bars like Tom's and Nikki's and the small town of St Jean has pharmacie, grocery... This was our fourth trip to Emeraude Plage and it was spectacular. We had the most amazing room on St Jean, the best beach on the island. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and this trip was even better than the other three. We loved it so much we did not venture far from the hotel. We took walks... More

Everyone says St.bart's is so expensive. And it is--but less so with the slipping € and not much more than other Caribbean places. But I like it that people think it's outrageous keeps it exclusive--and also a little hard to get to. There are no direct flights and no flights at night due to an unlit airport and runway. The... We travelled to this hotel for our first of many trips to ST Barts. This boutique hotel is centrally located in St Jean , on a fabulous beach, steps from Eden Roc and Tom Beach and very close to the grocery store. The beach is fabulous. You are steps from great dining and entertainment. We would definitely return ( I... More

The best part about this hotel is that it has perfect beach access. We stayed in bungalow E and not only could we see the ocean from our room but you can be on the sand and in the ocean in 30 seconds. Also, with patio sliding door open, you can hear the ocean lullaby you to sleep :) The... More

Emeraude Plage isn´t the most luxury hotel in the island, nor has many services available, but I wouldn´t change it for any other accomodation in St. Barth. We´ve been in St. Barths nearly 30 times, staying in many diferent hotels and villas and we always prefer to return to the Emeraude Plage, if available. The rooms are very comfortable, with... More

I had reservations for last February. One week before the trip was diagnosed with serious disease which needed surgery and chemo. The hotel owners refused to refund entire deposit or give a credit for a following year even with the offer of doctor's notes. They said they were following hotel policy. They kept a few thousand dollars and were totally... More

St Jean beach where Emeraude Plage is absolutely great even when St Barths airport decided to split the beach in two due to safety reasons concerning the runaway. The staff at Emeraude is delightful, discreet to the maximun. The bungalow where we stayed super clean and spartan it does need a mosquitoe screen though, is just a few steps from... More

We went to St Bart's on Memorial Day weekend looking to get away. The hotel seemed to have to attitude of just having enough during the off season. I understand that the winter months are absolutely nuts in St Bart's but this hotel was almost too quiet for me. Please understand that they did absolutely nothing wrong. The days at... More

This Hotel was amazing 5 star service and location. They upgraded us and gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon. Right on the beach and it was cheaper then Anguilla Frangipani (which was terrible, I will tell more later). We checked in and had lunch and had another wonderful beach day, went to the market to get some... More
