Both points are for the beach. The hotel was so problematic and overpriced. We were much happier after we moved to the Christopher (same price range). The Emaurade's fittest is of the lowest quality. I can't believe these horrible little bathrooms are possible in such an expensive room anywhere in the world, with the cheapest tiles and no bath. The... More

The hotel is right on the beach between Eden Rock and Toms. It was easy for us to get around and we had the rental car delivered right to the hotel. It was short walk to the grocery store and the room had a small kitchen and porch where we could sit and relax. Everything is spaced out enough where... More

The most charming exclusive, private getaway I can think of …along with Cotton House in Mustique. It's never disappointing. A small place (it would seem) but not because you rarely see anyone except the neighbors in the next bungalow. When I leave, I miss it…when I return I feel as if I am home. There are "no open to the... More

we spent 4 nights at the Emeraude. Hotel is perfectly located between Eden Rock and La plage restaurant. Rooms are large, great bed and outside kitchen. Service is excellent from the reception, always happy to book restaurant, massage, to the bar with Mario the legend. Garden, peace and beauty.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in December 2015. The location is amazing - but that has to be the reason you are going here. The rooms are not cheap ~400 euro (nothing on the island is cheap) but the rooms are just fine. They are in need of some love and care. The people at the... More

This was our 4th time in SB and 3rd time at Emeraude Plage. We really like this place, you don't need a car like when we stayed at Christopher as you have easy walking access to awesome beach, very nice restaurants like Eden Rock, fun bars like Tom's and Nikki's and the small town of St Jean has pharmacie, grocery... This was our fourth trip to Emeraude Plage and it was spectacular. We had the most amazing room on St Jean, the best beach on the island. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and this trip was even better than the other three. We loved it so much we did not venture far from the hotel. We took walks... More

Everyone says St.bart's is so expensive. And it is--but less so with the slipping € and not much more than other Caribbean places. But I like it that people think it's outrageous keeps it exclusive--and also a little hard to get to. There are no direct flights and no flights at night due to an unlit airport and runway. The... We travelled to this hotel for our first of many trips to ST Barts. This boutique hotel is centrally located in St Jean , on a fabulous beach, steps from Eden Roc and Tom Beach and very close to the grocery store. The beach is fabulous. You are steps from great dining and entertainment. We would definitely return ( I... More

The best part about this hotel is that it has perfect beach access. We stayed in bungalow E and not only could we see the ocean from our room but you can be on the sand and in the ocean in 30 seconds. Also, with patio sliding door open, you can hear the ocean lullaby you to sleep :) The... More
