I stayed about 9 days and loved it. I was traveling alone, important to feel safe. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean and well kept. The shower was nice and hot after a long day of diving. I had to work throughout my vacation, so Internet was important. I was pleased with my internet connection in... More

My 3rd trip to Saba for diving. Each time, I've stayed at Scout's Place and dived with Saba Divers. I always stay on the top floor (second floor) and I'm never disappointed. The rooms have a nice view of the ocean and mountains to each side. The rooms are clean and the hotel is centrally located. Wifi works well. There's... More

We've stayed three nights at Scout's Place. It's central location in downtown Windwardside is a big plus if you have just a couple of days, since you have most restaurants, shops and places of interest nearby. It's just a few minutes walk to the start of the Mount Scenery Stairway. The hotel is nice and cosy. The rooms are okay.... More

Scout's place is located in Winwardside and closed to all attractions within the small town. The location is great, the ocean view magnificent and the rooms small but have everything you may need - minus a mosquito net. I usually do not get get a lot of mosquito bites but had a real problem here. I bought the local OFF... More

Hi dear traveler. Thank you for the review. Sorry you had problems with mosquitos. Actually Saba is known for not having any of these insects and we normally don't. All necessary water areas have guppies in them and these little fish eat the mosquito larva's. We really have no idea why it didn't work for you. Concerning the shadow at... More

I stayed in Saba for a week at Scouts place, mainly doing diving everyday. Everybody is just so hospitable and sweet, from the taxi driver who picked me up from the airport to the chefs at the restaurant to the receptionist who checked me in. Since it was just me traveling, the room was nice and spacious with a really... More

My family and I stayed in the cottage for three days... It had a gorgeous view, two fans, working kitchen appliances, running water, and was overall very pleasant to stay in. For the next two days, we stayed in the hotel rooms which were also very nice with running water, fans, and a balcony with a beautiful view! The restaurant... More

We just spent a week at Scouts including diving. First, the people are great, helpful, and friendly. Restaurant was good, reasonably priced, and again the staff was great. The only down side is the fact the hotel is a little run down/old and in need of renovations. We had what was called the best room with a private balcony (Cottage... More

I hadn't even heard of Saba before my boyfriend randomly found it on google maps in an attempt to find a "small, not so touristy island" for part of our Caribbean adventure, but it far exceeded my expectations. We booked three nights with Scout's after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and after some sliiight logistical complications actually getting there... More
