The sound of the frogs lullabied us to sleep. The place was rustic, comfortable, down to earth. We enjoyed the proprieter Andries his company and hospitality. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a no frill lodging. The shared bathroom situated on the upper level had a good view of the area. Breakfast was fantastic - healthy and the... more

El Momo is a lovely rustic get-away. The cabins are very simple, clean, no-frills. They sort of reminded me of being at camp. We wanted something eco-friendly and close to nature, and this is what we got! When you walk outside the cabin, the views will seriously take your breath away. They are unreal!! The owner Andries is a warm,... more

El momo is a great location to spend your time on Saba. From the breakfast terrace, the cottages and even in the shower, you have a amazing view of the island and ocean. Service was great at El Momo. Andries was a friendly and helpful host and gave me a lot of info and tips about the island. I really... more

The owner is a really friendly guy running the place with a lot of care for his guests. The bungalows are located at a steap hill with fantastics views towards the sea. The rooms simple, but very clean and low budget! The matrass I slept on wasn't the best, but the owner told me he was going to replace some... more

I traveled to Saba this summer by myself for a dose of relaxation and hiking. My stay at El Momo was more than I could have asked for. The view of the ocean and Mt. Scenery from the patio of the Turtle Cottage was amazing. The patio had a hammock that I relaxed in each morning before breakfast and each... more

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay at the El Momo. The views from the cottage in the sky are amazing. Patrick and Sophie are wonderful and a joy to spend time with. Should we return to Saba, the El Momo will be our choice for accommodations. more

I only wish we could have stayed longer. My hubby and I went for a quick overnight dive trip while at St. Maarten. I fell in love with the place. Sophie and Patrick (the young Dutch couple that oversees the place) are so sweet. There are a LOT of stairs to walk (and no getting around that), so pack light!!... more

I count discovering Saba and El Momo as two of the best things that have happened to me while travelling. Sophie & Patrick, who run El Momo, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. When I arrived they both sat down with me to tell me about Saba's attractions and El Momo's amenities which was really helpful. As well as... more

I stayed at El Momo last week and had a great time! El Momo is a little paradise, not the least because of hosts Patrick and Sophie. Very friendly, helpful, hospitable and nice! And how tasty was their breakfast! Cottages are modest yet charming and apparently some renovations are planned. Each cottage has its own terrace with great view. Good... more
