My husband and I stayed in the studio a few years ago and had a great experience. The studio is perfect for a couple and is spacious and very clean. This year we went with another couple and rented the 2 bedroom apartment. It was perfect. There is plenty of space and stays very cool even in the middle of... More

We stayed here in April of 2011. The location is fabulous. It's within walking distance to restaurants and the biobay tour starting location. We really enjoyed Joe & Margaret's hospitatilty. They even let us borrow fins to use while snorkeingl. We rented the 1 br apartment downstairs. The room is nice and the bathroom was spacious. Even though it's in... More

We chose this lodge mainly because we will visit Biobay in Vieques during Christmas and many other lodges didn't accept one night stay. After reading all the reviews on TA, I decided to go with Coco Loco, good try, we got accepted and to ensure my place, I sent the deposit as requested. Before we travelled, there was various news... We had this place to ourselves for 2 nights while exploring Esperanza (without a car). It is only a 5 minute walk to town, but a fairly quiet neighborhood (no bars or other nightlife). It is an attractive house with a large backyard. The hosts, Joe and Margo, are friendly and give off a laid-back vibe. The one bedroom we... More

Margo and Joe's comments: Thank you so much for your feedback. We depend on the suggestions from our Guests in order to improve our service. Our enthusiasm for the Vieques Biobay is very great- we believe that it is so magnificent, that there isn't a Tour Guide who could "ruin" the experience. We suggest Nestor as the least expensive tour... More

We visited Vieques for one day to see Mosquito Bay and stayed in Coco Loco. Even it is low season, many hotels and B&Bs didn't accept our stay as it would be overnight; until asking Coco Loco. Margo helped us a lot before our arrival and answered all our questions in a very quick and open way. When we arrived,... More

I traveled solo so I wanted to make sure I found a safe and secure place to stay. I definitely found it. The hosts who also live there are the most friendliest folks you'll ever meet. They really made me feel at home as they took me to a festival which was happening while I was on island. It was... More

I wish every place I stayed in was like Coco Loco! The hosts were very friendly and down to earth. They keep the place immaculate and have a lot of little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I really loved the attention to detail there. The fresh flowers in the room, the sea fans decorating the bathrooms.... More

We stayed with Joe and Margot and had a wonderful time. It's an easy 1.5 block walk to the malecon. The apt was spotless and supplied with beach chairs, noodles and coolers, plus two hammocks. Be sure to take ear plugs. lord have mercy - the roosters started at what seemed like 3:30-ish and went until just after 6:00am. Other... More

We went to Vieques for 2 nights and stayed with Joe and Margo at Coco Loco. It was a great place to stay. We had a suite upstairs that had a private bedroom, bath, living room, kitchen, and large shared outdoor patio. Coco Loco is a short 10 min. walk from the main strip of Esperanza. My friends and I traveled to Vieques in March of 2011 for a destination wedding and stayed at Coco Loco for 3 nights and had a great time!
