This lovely little inn is set back about a 5 minute walk from "the strip" in Esperanza. It is run and maintained by Jose, a very welcoming, accommodating and graceful host. The place feels like a home away from home. Our flat was spotlessly clean and simply and tastefully decorated. If you prefer to dine in (the roof deck is... More

Beeautiful place to stay. Jose is always cleaning, the place is very clean and close to Esperanza. I have not been to Vieques in two years and Jose told us where to eat, new restaurants, new stores, etc. I made breakfast in my room, it had a very nice kitchen, you do not have to go out and eat, Jose... The good: -Nice large apartment-style suite. Very simple, but comfortable -Good little kitchen for making breakfast and lunches -Wonderful host who is there with anything you need, but leaves you alone to enjoy the tranquility -Great breezes on the top of the hill in Esperanza -Beautiful roof deck to enjoy the sunset with a cocktail before heading out to dinner... If you need a haven of simplicity and calm to unwind & recharge, this is the place to come. The apartments are clean, cosy and fully kitted out, but also remain simple enough that you feel you are getting back to essentials. Oh, and lots of light and gentle soothing breezes too. Acacia is very well situated a few minutes... More

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. We were close to the boardwalk and good restaurants. This place has a kitchen, and we were able to get food to make during the day. I do recommend that Jose get a full size coffee maker : ). The rooftop is nice to sit on and has a great view.... More

We had a one night stay at Acacia Guesthouse. Our host, Jose was great. Very cordial and hospitable. The room was immaculate. (I have a little OCD). We were the only guests staying that weekend. We traveled by the 9:30 Ferry (check my other reviews on the ferry – we bought our tickets a day early) and arrived around 11:30ish... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in early April. Our host Jose was amazing! He was very helpful in giving us recommendations about beaches, bike rentals, groceries and food. He was so kind to share all the beauty of Vieques with travelers, I could not imagine a better host. My boyfriend and I stayed in the studio... More

This was our first trip to Vieques we arrived by ferry, and took a taxi to the guesthouse. Upon arrival we were met by our host Douglas. Since we arrived early, our room was not ready, so Douglas provided the local map and showed us where we could go on foot since we did not have a car. The Malecon... More

I can't recommend this place enough. Our room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean; it's on the side of the island that has arguably the best beaches and restaurants; and the owner, Jose, is as warm, helpful and accommodating as anyone could hope. Jose and Acacia will be my first recommendation for anyone going to Vieques.

Great 5 night stay. Big room w/ usable kitchen. Lots of sunlight and breeze. Walking distance to the main Esperanza restaurant/bar drag and to some of the Esperanza beaches. Car definitely recommended for checking out some of the more impressive beaches, however. Very friendly and helpful proprietor. Highly recommended if you're looking for something in between a house rental and... More
