With so many choices and no idea what to expect or what we wanted to be near, we were really lost when trying to find a place to stay in vieques. After reading about it on homestay I was really drawn to this place and after emailing with the owner Mary, who was so communicative and helpful, I was sold!... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Vieques from March 7-10 2010 after visiting San Juan and Culebra and had the pleasure of staying in one of two casitas at Oreanda. Our hosts, Mary and Kirk, could not have been any better. The casita was beautifully decorated and comfortable....felt like a home away from home. The views from the porch were... More

Our trip to Vieques and the stay at Oreanda was more than we ever could have asked. It was a very private setting with a beautifual view. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to make our return trip, hopefully it will be sooner than later!

My first time in Vieques and at Oreanda. Where do I begin... The views in so many areas are amazing and breathtaking. A place to kick back and relax as well as pack the day in. Take a long walk that ends at the ocean as you hear the waves approaching or take a drive to a remote beach with... More

We stayed at Oreanda on our first visit to Vieques. We arrived at night and were really wowed when we awoke the next morning. Beautiful, peaceful, private grounds. Friendly hosts who were attentive to detail, yet unobtrusive at the same time. Fantastic location on the south side of the island, not far from Esparanza. We ate at fantastic restaurants all... More

We have had the opportunity to visit Vieques twice and stayed at Oreanda both times. The island and the lodging had everything we wanted. The compound of Oreanda provided every amenity we could wish for, and the island was ours to explore. We have been to six of the eight different beaches around the island, and of course, the Bio-luminescent... More

We made out first trip in April 2009 and returned again in November- The spot is perfect for relaxing and enjoying Vieques. A perfect morning each day with a great cup of coffee overlooking the ocean. The casitas are both perfect for our needs. We loved it and will be returning again.

This was my second stay at Oreanda, and I plan on returning again in 2011. Love the place! I stayed in one of the guest homes. Nice size, with a small kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath and porch. Very clean and in excellent condition. Arrived in the evening (dark) and then awoke to the morning views, wow, amazing! Great pool... More
