Views from the entire resort are stunning! From sitting in the infinity pool, lounging on the outdoor couches, the horses roaming right next to us, and the outdoor dining all breathtaking!! It has a B&B feel with each room being one of a kind & eclectic. The receptionist, Sharon, was so helpful and friendly! Our only complaint was the very... More

TIP: I can't speak for the other rooms, but room 100 is great!! Yes, the hotel is dated, and there is no TV or phones, and the bathrooms could use a make over, but the charm and being able to open your door while laying in a huge comfortable bed looking at the ocean, priceless!! It has a great big... More

This hotel costs over $300 a day. Worth a lot less.My room was so bad that I moved to another hotel. The bathroom had mold and the fixtures/sink, toilet all needed replacing. The faucet dripped all night. The path to the beach was down a muddy , unkept trail difficult to find and walk on. Vacations are rare and expensive. They... More

I absolutely loved staying here - it's in such a quiet location. The pool is perfect and the hotel is so small (and does not allow children) that it's always serene and relaxing. Be aware that you can't walk to the beach from here, but the hotel rents jeeps at $80/day (yes... steep). The grounds are beautiful, with wild horses... More

Although the property is quite lovely there are several reasons not to stay at Blue Horizon When we requested an extra packet of coffee for our room we were told that there is only one per room. we later when to the reception area and waited for someone to appear. Finally someone came and we asked about getting an umbrella... More

We stayed at the Blue Horizon in December 2014 and attended a wedding of close friends that took place at the resort. If you are looking for isolation, dirt roads and wild horses, a nice infinity pool in which you can stare out into the ocean for hours without being bothered this is the resort for you. The location was... More

This venue is the perfect setting for a wedding. Mayra is SO amazing and organized in everything she did for my guest of 40. The staff is SO amazing and friendly in making everyone feel at home and comfortable. The scenery is breathtaking. I looked at several places in Vieques to get married and this venue was hands down the... More

This might be the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at. The central buildings, the "infinity" swimming pool, and the grounds, are just breathtaking. And the satellite buildings, with a duplex pair of rooms are very nice. We were "upgraded" to one of these rooms (which I have a suspicion they do automatically if any are empty on a given... More

During our stay in Vieques we encountered a number of issues including our car breaking down. We knew a little bit of Spanish, but not enough to speak with the car company about our issues. The staff (especially Jeanette) went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us with this issue. With Jeanette involved we got the problem taken care of smoothly... More

Vieques is precisely the pace I want from Puerto Rico. Spending part of December 2012 here was a lifetime highlight. It was not crowded at all, the scenery was amazing, and the bartender was very accommodating. My fiance and I went on a bit of an adventure, where we walked along the black sand beaches and encountered a harem of... More
