Clean, basic, quiet rooms with AC, fan, fridge, and patio right in Esperanza for just over $100. Substantial included breakfast in their restaurant with ocean view is an awesome perk. Great YouTube videos posted by the hotel helped us pick out our room (#3).

The rooms were awful- located in a back hall by the kitchen of the restaurant, with sounds and smells late into the night. The room was dirty and real basic. I noticed an electriCal box in the bathroom with exposed wires running to the broken air conditioner. The doors were made of some 1x4s attached together and the bathroom door... More

Everything on this island is expensive. There aren't many choices for me when my conditions are 1) in Esperanza area, 2) not too expensive (<$120 per night), 3) with breakfast, until I found out about their bio-bay package. The package only costed $319 for 2 persons, 2 nights, 1 bio-bay trip with Abe's, $50 to spend at their restaurants, and... More

A petit hotel with out luxury but with a lot of human touch. Rooms are simple and very clean. No luxury at all but very charm. Located in Esperanza at the west end of the male on so you are where the action is but far frame the noice. The restaurant is very good.

Rooms are very basic. This looks like a hostel or a VERY budget friendly hotel, but it was quite expensive. No amenities. We had to beg to get a pitcher of cold water... Food was too expensive aside from the free breakfast. The staff wasn't especially friendly, but it was in a perfect location with a gorgeous view (of course,... More

Our family had a magical and rejuvenating stay at Tradewinds. The rooms are simple and clean. Nothing fancy, but very inviting. The food in the restaurant is so good we ended up dining there almost every meal. The island is a great place to explore. We also got some great t-shirts at their cool gift shop.

As a single female traveler with a few free days in Vieques, Trade Winds was a fantastic choice. I wanted to be in Esperanza so that I could be near restaurants and other people, but I didn't want to be smack dab in the middle of the Malecon strip. Trade Winds is perfect because it is at the very end... More

I stayed at the Trade Winds Guesthouse in late March. I stayed for three days only. I wish I could stay longer. The front desk is also the gift shop when you check in. If you're driving in there may be a parking space available in front of the restaurant. The restaurant also has rooms in the back corridor if... More

Loved the location, right on the waterfront, easy walking distance to everything in the village of Esperanza. Only a short walk (10 minutes) along the beach to a beautiful bay. Great view from the restaurant / bar of the Esperanza harbor not to mention great food and drink.

Liked the room okay but the guest room was located right beside the restaurant. The restaurant noise was fine but once guests left, the staff was loud and obnoxious. We finally had to get out of bed and ask them to not scream. They did get quiet but they should not have been so loud in the first place. The... More
