I stayed for a week and my experience was good. The hotel was clean, good atmosphere and the service was great! The buffet breakfast was hot and had variety everyday. The only thing I didn't like was the pool area. The pool was very dirty and there were animals all around like roosters and cats.

Our family of three stayed at this hotel for one night due to my daughter's school activity. The front desk service was corteous and excellent. The pool area was well kept. My only recommendation is to have realy pool towels. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning work perfectly. There are no nice views, but it is very well... More

Nice hotel. Very Friendly Staff. It took us about 20 minutes to check in. Very Busy at front desk. It is a older hotel but very comfortable. We were in a smoking room; and it did not smell like smoke at all. The only thing that I disliked was the carpet in room must have been just cleaned because the... More

Our stay this March was short however we returned because our last stay was so pleasant. I will agree this time around our room was very dated and the stains on the rugs were a bit unsettling. The service as always was pleasant we had trouble with our door locking and they came up immediately to correct the problem. I... More

Lack of water pressure, executive level lounge is closed and no breakfast offered despite the website saying executive level includes breakfast, refridgerators and breakfast. In fact, they have all sorts of construction trash and extra refrigerators stacked in the former lounge with brown paper on the windows. It looks nice for the executive floor which costs 10.00 more a night... More

Stayed two nights, the staff is friendly, the location is good and we felt safe. The hotel is being remodeled and it shows because the bathroom improved since we visited last May. They still need to do some work, the beds are not very comfortable and the pillows are hard as rocks, the furniture needs an update, but it is... More

We stayed just one night - a Saturday - and expected that we would be bothered by late-night noise from the casino - but No. We were on the 6th floor and heard no noise. Room was clean and not musty-smelling as often happens in the tropics. Our rate included a buffet breakfast which we found to be very good... More

The Holiday-Inn Mayaguez & Tropical Casino is in a convenient location to the Aguadilla airport and also to Mayaguez. First off, the entire staff are friendly and professional. We flew into the Aguadilla airport and drove to the Holiday-Inn which will provide early check-in if rooms are available. (we checked in at 4:00am). There is plenty of parking for guest,... More

If you find yourself in Mayaguez then this is a good place to stay. We moved our daughter to Mayaguez to play for their professional volleyball team and stayed here for 4 nights. We found the front desk staff to be extremely helpful and accommodating. The casino in the hotel is crowded and small but if you are looking for... More

We stayed at this hotel just because we want to stay at west coast in Puerto Rico in order to visit west coast beaches. This hotel service the purpose. Is more like a business hotel but is very good and has a nice pool and amenities. Overall very good and clean hotel.
