Pros: Great Location near the corner where Magdalena meets Ashford. Hot water in bathroom. The remote for TV is given to you at the front desk. Cons: Very sparse room. Very uncomfortable bed that is hard, bouncy and squeeks. Phone did not work. AC outlets coming oiut of the walls. Section of ceiling over bed was covered with some acoustic... More

Arrived at Le Consulat after a stressful delayed pair of flights from the UK and was immediately welcomed by the recptionist who had obviously stayed at his post waiting for our arrival. (24 hour receptions in small hotels are sometimes hard to come by!) Check in was smooth and immediately got the keys to the room. It was well past... More

This is a cute small hotel but certainly does have its issues. I could not use my cell phone in the hotel at all as I never was able to get a signal. I have T-Mobile and the front desk girl insisited that she too had T-Mobile and she said it was fine. I see other people who reviewed had... More

The place doesn't look bad, but honestly it seems like there is only one employee taking care of the entire building. my room didn't have any hot water so i had to take a nice cold shower and it seemed like the towels in the bathroom were dirty. The continental breakfast they offered...was sad cereal...yup plain cereal with nothing no... More

We arrived here and wasn't impressed. We had to wear our water sock in the room and shower being we didn't know how clean the room was. breakfast was terrible. We ended up down the street at the local donut shop. Rooms were very ran down and teh place needs to have a remodel done. They are very cheap even... More

I stayed here on July 22 for 2 nights. The room was on the Second floor. The room was small and awkward the TV was on the opposite side of the bed. Under the bathroom sink the board was broking. The shower drain hole was huge I hope no one drop an earring or ring down there or it would... More

So let me get the worst out of the way first: I had two executive suites (1st floor both facing the pool area) and both did not provide WiFi, not even in the pool area. I stayed for a week (on business), so yes, it was very inconvenient. When the staff says "I don't know why those rooms NEVER receive... More
