I loved Coqui del Mar! It's conveniently located 30 seconds from the beach (where I spent all my time). The accommodations were lovely- really cute room with bathroom and kitchenette. In the room there was tons of information about the area, and Coqui provided bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas for rent. There was also a great courtyard that had tons... More

Long overdue review, we stayed January 23-26, 27, 28-29 as we became stranded in Puerto Rico :-) during the Blizzard of '15 in New England. We had decided last minute to run-a-way for the weekend and leave the bitter New England cold behind and tank up on some vitamin D, only to find ourselves trapped in paradise. Before we could... My family of 5 recently stayed in the El Pascado unit at Coqui Del Mar. First, understand that this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. I would rate it somewhere in the 2.5-3.0 range if compared to a normal hotel type property. This is made up for by the staff and the conveniences offered by the property. Noyda... More

This is one of those establishments I really want to give a higher rating than three stars. Noyda and Neal really were great. The common areas of the guesthouse are lovely- I like the glowing lights that welcomed us late at night upon our arrival. We appreciated the full kitchen in the room, in-room safe, hot tub, good local map,... More

My group wanted to get away from high rise hotels and the commercialized part of traveling, so after a great experience with airbnb in Amsterdam, we went the same route to find a place for our trip in San Juan. Coqui del Mar was such a great place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for... More

After a marathon travel day/ night getting to Puerto Rico, Coqui Del Mar was the PERFECT place to land and relax. From the booking to actual arrival, their communication was top notch. As soon as we arrived we felt at home and relaxed. It's located just outside of the busy/ touristy strip in a more residential neighborhood. Plenty of street... More

Noyda, Neal and Espy are the best hosts in the world. I have stayed at the Coqui twice now, and plan to stay again next year! I travel down with a few close friends every January to escape the dread of NYC in winter. We stay in El Pescado everytime and its an absolute delight. This place is cozy, clean,... More

I recomend Coqui del mar in Beach Ocean, San Juan- Puerto Rico. It's close to the beach, comfort like my house (bikes, jacuzzi, surfboards, assessorios to beach, barbecue, apple tv, complete kitchen, etc). I spent 3 nights in the room named "el pescado"...wow...cuty and interesting. There's an aquarium with several fish in the bathroom. The manager (Noida) is lovely and... More
