I booked the Andalucia based on other TripAdvisor reviews. I was very pleased to see that those reviews were right on. The reservation process was very straightforward, accomplished by a series of emails. Emeo, one of the two guys who run/own this guest house, sent information on how to get there with instructions for the taxi driver to find the... more

This was a wonderful stay even though only for 1 night, it could easily be a week in the future. The room was immaculate, with comfy beds, hot shower, close to the airport, old san juan, resturants and the beach within walking distance. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome, we were greeted by name,... more

We held a big family reunion at this guest house (15 people from all over the world) and it turned out perfeclty. Our hosts Emeo and Esteban were friendly and helpful, the rooms were just what we needed, the neighborhood was quiet, we were five minutes' walk from a lovely beach, we were in easy reach of old San Juan,... more

We stayed three nights at the Andalucia last week. It was a nice stay. The rooms are clean but pretty minimal. Soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. Coffee pot but no coffee or tea. We felt a bit like we were in a cave since our room had no outside windows. Our bathroom window opened to the pool area... more

My husband and I have been traveling all over the country, staying only at small B&B's, so the atmosphere at Andalucia Guest House was extremely familiar to us-- intimate, comfy, "just right" in size, rustic, with attentive hosts/innkeepers. Even though the bulk of our time there coincided with the owners being on vacation themselves, their substitute innkeepers Gloria & Javier,... more

If you want to stay in a place that makes you feel like a friend or a visiting relative than this is the place for you. 1. If you are looking for lux this is not it. This place is modest, charming and very clean. All must haves for me, especially at such a great rate. 2. Charming, sweet and... more

My wife and I went for our honeymoon in Feb '08. First I would have to say that we aren't typical. By that I mean, it was our honeymoon but we wanted to do more adventuring than romancing. With that said, a totally luxurious room was not needed. But we were pleasantly surprised with the room that we were given.... more

Just returned home from a week's vacation in Puerto Rico, three night's of which were spent at the Andalucia Guest House. The room was comfortable and charming, as was the property as a whole. The owners were friendly and helpful, and both the room and the common areas were kept very clean. There is no pool, but the hottub is... more

My partner and I stayed here for a week in March of 2008. We thought the place was terrific. It had it all. Good price, good location, clean and quiet. We decided not to rent a car and instead used buses, taxis and our feet. (The beach is a 3 minute walk away). We found a local guide (courtesy of... more

You will never be treated nicer. This place is quaint, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, it is 2 blocks away from the beach, close to bus that takes you to old San Juan, and museums. Close to places to eat (try Pinky's!). We had a lovely time. If you like small places with character,... more
