In San Juan, you get one of two options (from what I can tell): -Glitzy, tacky, ostentatious hotels (and casinos and/or golf) OR -homestyle inns When we travel, we try to avoid the former and look for a more authentic way to experience whatever culture we are visiting. After searching high and low (unfortunately guest houses aren't too searchable using... More

This was an unexpected find. Went down to a friends weading and was looking for a place close to the beach but that didn't break my budget. The place is clean and very well located. Service was great too. Would recommend to anyone traveling on a budget. More

Andalucia Guest House ROCKS! We have never been to Puerto Rico and did not know where to stay. After searching the internet for a quiet place away from the tourist areas, we found Andalucia. And we are so glad we did. The customer service was exceptional both before, during and after the trip. The room as spacious enough for two... More

This review is well past overdue. My wife and I traveled the Puerto Rico in October of 2011. After being in Puerto Rico for just a few hours our car was stolen. That being said, it should not deter you from traveling to Puerto Rico. Things like that happen, and it is part of the traveling experience. One thing we... More

My husband & I came to San Juan for a couple of days & returned to the Andalucia & it didn't disappoint! The Guesthouse is conveniently located for walking to nearby restaurants, grocery shops, stores, & also is in a central spot for getting out for a nice run. The rooms are well appointed, clean, & quiet. Our room was... More

This review is extremely late, almost four years. My wife and I took a week off to go to Puerto Rico in the summer of 2008. I found this hotel online and it was the perfect choice. It was close to San Juan, close to the beach and you couldn't ask for friendlier people at the front desk. The bus... More

We stayed at the Andalucia for one night in November. The room was great: really comfortable and quiet. The hotel is really conveniently located. We could walk to the beach, dinner, and breakfast quite easily. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating of our schedule (our flight the first day got canceled). Highly recommend! More

I stayed at Andalucia March 5 - March 8. I arrived after check-in and Eteban and Emeo were very accommodating. My room was perfect, good size for one person. I really liked the location. Walking distance from great food, local shops and the typical commercial stores ie Walgreens. The thing I found very convenient was that the host had maps... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Andalucia (again!) with Emeo & Esteban while I was in San Juan for a triathlon. The guesthouse is the perfect mix of clean accommodation, cultural experience, and friendly atmosphere. My well appointed room faced the street, and even though Ocean Park is part of the city, I didn't hear any traffic... More
