I had a group of 12 that stayed here in June. The location could not have been better; you are right in the middle of Old San Juan. The owners were charming, the interior has an eclectic flare to it, and the continental breakfast was extremely satisfying. Would highly recommend!

We reserved our room thru Booking.com and got an email from them a couple days ago that the hotel has closed and that we would need to find a new one. Luckily, we have been watching the comments and saw this coming so we had already reserved a back up hotel for our visit in April.

I also received an email notifying me of the hotel's closure, but they did not bother to contact me until three days prior to the night we were going to stay. I was able to book another hotel in the same area, but I wish I had known sooner.

My husband and I and our 4 children, ages 4 -12, stayed here for only one night back in May on our way back from the Fajardo ferries back to Arecibo, where we were visiting family. I was actually looking to rent an apartment since, having 4 children, it's expensive to stay at a hotel that could accommodate our family.... More

I made reservations in March 2013 for our trip Dec. 21-22, 2013. On Thursday Dec. 5, 2013 I received a phone message from some one stating I needed to call them back as The Pop Art Hotel in San Juan had gone out of business in Nov. She had also stated that they had attempted to email me and also... More

Overall this little hotel shines. It shines for the following reasons: 1. Very colorful, creative. It seems a lot of thought went into the decor and design with big vibrant artwork adorning the walls. 2. Very central in Old San Juan - you can easily walk the old city from the hotel. We stayed there before and after taking the... More

My Brother, Mother and I had the privilege of spending a night at the Pop Art hotel before boarding our Cruise from San Juan. The location is excellent, right in the center of Old San Juan. Everything is walking distance, including the San Juan Pier and the Forts of Old San Juan. The Manager, Franklin, was very helping and accommodating.... More

I organized a group of 20 from 16 different countries for a couple of days of connection time and business meetings before an international conference elsewhere. Manager: Franklin, and EVERY single person I dealt with, such as Gabriella, was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Even when two of our group missed their flight from Germany, and I stayed up until 2am... More

Basically this is an old large home that has been retro-fitted into a bed and breakfast. If you are on a budget and don't mind a bit of adventure, inconvenience, you may enjoy it. Pros - Easy to access, located in safe part of town, quaint decor, clean, with a great staff. Located near Walgreens and Subway. 5 minutes by... More
