Firstly, Lanchy, the owner, is extremely friendly AND helpful!!! Please be aware that if you have a flight with a later arrival (after 7pm), you must let her know so that she can leave a key in the mailbox for you; I know it sounds crazy and unsafe, but I never felt afraid. It cost about $20 for a taxi... More

If you're looking for a beach location that's affordable--this is a great place. Having said that, I don't think it's worth staying here if you don't opt for the ocean view rooms. Not having an ocean view room would make your stay here a bit depressing, in my opinion. I loved my ocean view room and fell asleep to the... More

If you are desperate for a roof over your head... fine, but with the choices available, you can spend a few dollars more and have a good hotel. Pros: clean linens, great view from our room (the only room with a view!) the manager is very friendly and helpful! Cons: it's in a filthy backstreet in the Condado (think slum)... More

Prior to our cruise out of San Juan, I found this inexpensive guest house to stay in. To my suprise, what a find. Exensive hotels on both sides of this cute little place that sits right on the beach. The neighborhood is Condado, which is close to the cruise terminal, about 10 minutes by cab. Not the quietest area, but... More

It is an older building, but well maintained, and very clean rooms. There is free wi-fi, modern stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, pots/pans, dishes, knifes, forks, spoons, kitchen table/chairs. Ocean facing patio area next to the beach. Rooms have a nice clean comfortable bed, TV, air conditioning (did not need as the over head fan, and the ocean breezes cooled the room.)... More

The woman who owns the place is really nice. Location is fantastic, right on the beach in the middle of the Condado strip, but on a side street with no traffic (it's a dead end). I was very pleasantly surprised by the room. HUGE, clean, good air con, fairly noise proof windows, with a balcony, and the bathroom was big... More

The night club is right next door, parking driving is an exercise in patience. The staff is very friendly, the beach is beautiful. Again be prepared for terrible traffic....and very loud music. The rooms are ok, good value and clean. It seems safe, and is near everything. Traffic and club will have me booking somewhere else next time. More

I'm glad I only had to stay here 1 night. We were here New Year's eve 2011 for the start of a Puerto Rican adventure. This place is in a great location - cool club next door, a gay bar across from cool club. And El Concha , the fancy hotel with a casino, is 2 blocks away. Entrance to... More
