Stayed one night after cruising in the Caribbean. A centrally located hotel. We took advice of other reviewers and asked for a rear room. A good choice bcause the front rooms could have been noisy, especially at night. The staff were extremely pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel was clean and pleasant. The room was plain but... more

I stayed at the Hotel Milano for two nights. The location is ideal in Old San Juan. Very close to great restaurants and points of interest. The room is very outdated and the carpet doesn't look pristine. The staff is very friendly and they recommended great restaurants where to have dinner. At check-in they said breakfast was included, but I... more

Loved the location. Clean rooms, etc. The A/C fan stays on so the noise bothers my husband, but not me. The people were very helpful and professional. The continental breakfast is not included and costs $5-6. It includes OJ, pineapple juice, coffee, milk, cold cereal, fresh fruit, toast, muffins and pastries. We would not hesitate to stay here again. more

You can't get a better location in Old San Juan - right on Calle de Fortaleza, in "SoFo", the neighborhood's dining and nightclub hub. Lots of great restaurants within a block or two. Room was fine. We didn't mind the rear of the building location with small, high windows much as we were there on the weekend and it was... more

My wife and I stayed at the Milano for one night (Friday!) just prior to our cruise. The location is unbeteable, in the heart of Old San Juan. The place is clean and the staff friendly. The rate though, too high for what it offers. Our room was facing the back of the building, so noise was not an issue.... more

Staff is professional & friendly - but a couple times when I asked for info (for example, the Children's museum) I was greeted with a shrug and a head shake. I started to wonder if they understood English. The gentleman that runs the breakfast buffet was wonderful and sitting outside was fun - but the food did leave something to... more

Tucked in among the store fronts is this sweet little hotel. Because of its location near the heart of Old Town, San Juan, it made exploring a delight. The rooms are smallish, but clean; the desk staff was so friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to help us find just the right restaurant and sights. We were... more

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. It is very clean and comfortable. It is in a great location for walking around Old San Juan. A variety of restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was very helpful to us and we felt safe the whole time there. I would highly recommend it to others, and will use it... more

Location was ideal. Many local businesses and restaurants with in walking distance. Staff was very helpful. Rooftop restaurant was great, just too bad it is not open in the evening. Will stay there again! more

You can't beat the location of this hotel in Old San Juan and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was average in size and content, the windows were very small and didn't open, and the carpet seemed a little too old to comfortably walk on with bare feet. Most notably, the room was very musty. There was an... more
