Hotel Milano certainly has all of that in Old San Juan. There does appear to be a shortage of hotels which I presume is why they can charge so much for rooms that are not instantly appealing. It cost $18 for transport from the airport. Then you pay for each piece of luggage $1. I found the surrounding area to very rich in history. I paid less for a no view room. For me it was enough room. i recently traveled to san juan from st.thomas with a very tightly scheduled two day stay. hotel milano provided me with exactly what i needed, a place to refresh myself and access appointments at various locations and times in the old city. the location was perfect fro my needs. the staff was friendly as usual and provided guidance as needed. more
