Acacia is a boutique hotel - come here if you want a quiet, personal experience, with fewer amenities but more style. The pros: this hotel is half a block from the beautiful Condado public beach, 3 minutes from a bus that takes you to Old San Juan, near the totally sweet breakfast joint Pinky's, in a very up-scale and safe... Acacia was great little fine. Room was clean. The pool was awesome. We stayed at Acacia on Friday the 13 of Jan. 2012. The staff was great when we check in and great when we check out. We left Saturday the 14th for a cruise. The young lady behind the desk called a cab for us. Little did we know... More

Stayed at Acacia for 2nights before cruise .It lives up to all of the positive comments on previous reviews. The key distinguishment in my opinion is the service oriented focus of the entire staff.they are the real deal...Chad,Claudio,Ari,Susanna. Try it folks...you wont be disappointed.Im already planning on doing a drive-around Puerto Rico trip next winter and will most definately utilize... More

We had a great 5 night stay here. Front desk staff here (and at Windchimes, the sister hotel where we parked) could not have been more helpful in every way. Location in Condado comfortable for walking home at night and one block from the beach - but on a very quiet residential street. Loved the hot tub each night (really... More

We stayed at the Acacia our last 3 days in San Juan. As everyone has said, it is not a resort. It is a lovely little hotel tucked away in a residential section of San Juan literally steps from the beach. Our balcony overlooked their huge jacuzzi. You'd think it would be noisy but actually the room was very quiet.... More

I arrived in San Juan January 6th looking forward to a great vacation. Upon arriving at the Acacia I was greeted by a very pleasant young woman at the front desk. Candles lit, smell of the tropics filtering in the air of the lobby, fruit infused water available at front desk and soothing music playing in the background. After checking... More

We stayed with two other couples at this hotel in mid-January at the time of the San Sebastian Festival in Old San Juan. The hotel is located near (but not on) the beach in a residential area midway between the main tourist/casino hotels and the San Juan airport. There are few places of interest in the immediate vicinity, but a... More

We sure wish we had paid more attention to the negative reviews of this hotel, but after all the glowing reports we chose this place for a post cruise stay. I have to say that we agree with a lot of the negative stuff said about the Acacia. It seems that most of the resources went into the jacuzzi pool... More

We checked into this hotel on Tuesday Evening January 10,2012. I have to say that it was the worst experience ever. We had reservations at "A Wind Chimes" hotel and were told they did not have our reservation but we could stay at their sister hotel, Acacia. We were told at ten o,clock at night to carry our bags down... More

Just based on previous reviews, I wanted to experience a more intimate stay where I can feel safe. When I arrived at Acacia late that night I knew it was the right choice. The receptionist in the front desk was pleasant and friendly. It was a beautiful night complemented by the perfect weather. The next morning it was great to... More
