Good hotel with excellent staff. We had two King rooms on the first floor (although we booked--and paid for--doubles). Hotel is old but well kept with high ceilings, good beds, and a nice bar and good, shady places to sit outside. Small pool. Not luxurious, but nice enough and a good value. One block from a good beach and a... More

We booked two rooms, months in advance. When we arrived at the scheduled check-in, we were told it would be another hour. After an hour we waited some more. We were not told in advance that there was no parking available without a reservation, but much worse.... when my husband and I were taken to our room it was a... More

We stayed here with our 2 kids (10 and 12) on our way to and from Vieques. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, basic and have A/C. The pool is small but sufficient for a quick dip and has a relaxing waterfall. The bar was very cool. The area is safe and we walked around... More

If you like small inns at the beach, you'll be very happy here -- I was. I was also fairly delighted that, while I reserved an ordinary double double, I got a 2 BR suite with patio! This was more of a housekeeping apartment, very spacious, not fancy but clean and comfortable. It has AC but we didn't need to... More

This is a wonderful, clean, relaxing and friendly place, close to the beach, a short walk to a good bakery, a little longer walk to shops and places to eat but well worth it. We had a lot of fun. Do not hesitate to book a room here.

I was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews and was so happy to be pleasantly surprised. Some people have said the rooms were dirty. This is NOT the case. This is an old home turned into a hotel. Things like the windows are old and there is some chipped paint but the room is very clean and... More

After reading those good reviews, we were disappointed that things were not as good as we expected. Tiny room, no mini fridge, no microwave, not even a coffee maker there. What really made us very uncomfortable is that the front desk lady kept telling us they'd charge us $150 if we loose one room key, because we asked for two... More

I loved this place from the minute we pulled up. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful and our room was beautiful. It's a great location but still quiet so we slept great. Go have a drink at the back bar, it was beautiful.

Debated 4 or 5 rating. I wasn't wowed by this hotel, but there was not a real negative to speak of. Aside from Michelle (I think that's her name), the desk staff was okay...Michelle was super nice and friendly. The others a bit on the cold side...helpful, yes. Nice that the sister hotel, Acacia, has a big hot pool for... More

So, we wanted a day pass for a hotel near Old San Juan. We started making some phone calls in the morning. We ran across there website and phoned them. The person on the other end said the day pass was $20. So, we took a taxi there. Lo and Behold, the phone number was redirected to a hotel (not... More
