We, a family of 5, stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan before and after our cruise. The hotel it's self is very nice and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately, the staff needs to work on their politeness. The reception staff was the worst I've encountered in a long time. They weren't really outwardly rude, just snide and uncaring. For... more

We stayed at this hotel prior to our caribbean cruise and post cruise prior to flying back to Nor-Cal. 1.Location ,Location,Location-Right in the heart of Old San Juan, all the great shopping, walking distance to the Forts of El Morro and Christobal -a stones throw to the Carnival embarkation pier. 2.Grreat service-as a longtime SPG member check in was a little crowded... more

We stayed at this hotel after a cruise. If you are cruising via Carnival, you won’t find a better hotel location as the Sheraton is across the street from the cruise terminal; while many others were waiting at the terminal for cabs, we took our luggage and walked one block to check-in. Check-in was busy but efficient. We arrived eight... more

After staying at the Rio Mar for 4 days, we moved over to the Sheraton Old San Juan. Even though we are members of their Sheraton chain, the desk clerk would not grant us an upgrade. We arranged ahead of time for an early check in and when we did check in were told we would have to wait until... more

We stayed at the Sheraton for one night prior to a cruise out of Pier 4 and couldn't be more pleased. In addition to being directly across the street from the cruise terminal, the hotel is in a great location to start your own walking tour of Old San Juan. You would never need a cab to go anywhere in... more

When we wanted to book our stay in San Juan for a few days prior to a Southern Caribbean cruise, we turned to TripAdvisor for recommendations. In spite of mediocre reviews, we chose to book the Sheraton largely because of its excellent location and proximity to historic sites, restaurants, shopping and parks. We used an AARP discount to make our... more

It took several rooms to find and acceptable one. The room product is not bad. The beds seem slightly worn I found several rooms had week ac units. The bigger problem, and it is not the hotels fault, is lots and lots of families and kids. As a business traveler who's job requires him to be well rested in the... more

If you are looking for location, it will be difficult to beat the Sheraton in Old San Juan. Everything you want to see in OSJ is right outside the hotel. It was great watching the ships sail in and out from the 9th floor pool. Although lacking a much needed mini-fridge, the room amenities were surprisingly good quality. There was... more

We got a wonderful suite room at the Sheraton old San Juan. The room was great, the service was very good and we got to enjoy some of the amenities of the hotel. My parents had selected to stay at the Ritz so we went to the beach there so I am not sure about the beach close to this... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February 2009. I am a Starwoods Guest Rewards member, and booked my stay using points, and paying a discounted rate. That was my main factor in booking the hotel. The hotel's location is really perfect, it's right off of the dock in what I guess is the southeast corner of Old... more
