Location great. But...... We were housed across the road in a "suite" that wasn't sweet! The suite was very cramped and the pull out bed was so uncomfortable nobody could get a good night sleep. The floor would have been better! The management didn't seem to care when I asked for a mattress that wasn't full of painful springs. No... more

I needed a mini vacation out of the rush of the crowd of city hotels and my partner suprised me with a weekend stay at this guesthouse. I thought I was going to get bored but to my surprise it turned out to be the best relaxed vacation of all our trips. The room was adequate considering this was a... more

So after an exhausted effort of research for days on end, I discovered the oasis that is called Numero Uno Guest house. It is right on a BEAUTIFUL beach, the bilingual staff were so helpful, and Pamela's was delicious. The location is in a gated community pretty much half way between the SJU airport and Old San Juan. My friend... more

We arrived in San Juan on Tuesday morning early after an overnight layover in the airport. We were obviously exhausted and just need to relax for the day. When we arrived, Milton already had our room available (at 10 am!!). After handling the paperwork & being shown to the room (room number 1), we decided to take a quick nap... more

Location simply can't be better. Walk out of the courtyard, and you are on beautiful sandy beach. All the beach accessories are provided by the inn. Friendly staff, clean room and beautiful views. Nice breakfast with fresh fruits and tasty pastries. Everyone was really helpful in giving tips about places to go and restaurants to it in, especially Chris. We... more

It was ok, but the rooms were pretty dingy. However, the location can't be beat. There is a waiter who will bring you drinks on the beach, although he was really pushy with some of the drinks. That was if you were lucky to get his attention. The food is very expensive. It was tasty, but the cost was high--but... more

We recently spent a week at this hotel in Ocean Park area of San Juan. The staff was great with helping us get taxi to and from the old San Juan area. The hotel is within (long) walking distance of the art museum. It's right on the beach and attached restaurant, Pamela's, was great. I'd recommend eating there even if... more

My sister and I stayed at Numero Uno for four nights, and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was a wonderful trip, and Numero Uno was the perfect place to stay. The hotel is small, and nestled in Ocean Park, between the big hotels in Isle Verde and Condado. We prefer the smaller, local feel of Numero Uno to the... more

It took a little effort to find it, but it was worth it! The people were great and the room was so nice. It was the end unit very quiet. It had all the simple things we were looking for. The greatest part was that it was right there on the beach. We heard the ocean all night long. If... more

Great location close to the airport which suited us perfectly as we only needed a place to rest after a long flight. The guesthouse is ideally located on the beach. Nice but limited breakfast options, fruit and pastries only. The 'pool' is more of a water feature than anything else but with the beach so close it hardly matters. The... more
