We recently spent one night pre-cruise at Numero Uno. It's in Ocean Park right on the beach, about midway between the airport and Old San Juan. Our room wasn't ready, but our luggage was stored in the office. We opted to have lunch on the beach at the connected restaurant. We had a beautiful table right on the beach under... More

Third time at Numero Uno and can't say enough about how wonderful a time we had!! The staff is friendly and very attentive. When on the beach brought out lunch and drinks. Food was delicious. Beautiful place with great views. Clean room and when needed extra towels and sheets were promptly taken care of. Penthouse my favorite, very private, quiet... More

If you are looking to get away from the large hotels in San Juan and stay in a quiet hotel next to a beautiful beach this hotel is for you. The only negative is that the check in time is rather late, 4 pm, and we were not given access to our room until around 3pm.

Great location! It was quiet and relaxing. A good place for couples. I just wanted to stay at a smaller place. I saw all the good reviews on tripadvisor. There are restaurants walking distance from the B&B. I felt it was a safe area to stay. Loved it!

Gorgeous beach just outside the door. Very helpful beach attendants provide chairs, umbrellas, towels. The beach is very quiet during the week but very crowded on the weekend with locals which makes for fun people watching. On the weekend a little stand was selling grilled chicken and grilled mahi skewers for $3-4 and they were great. Guys walk the beach... More

Trip advisor led us to this bed and breakfast. This was our first trip to PR and we had started in a high rise Marriott in San Juan.... an ocean front villa in Rincon... an Inn in Fajardo and finally here! The grand finale! We explored the rain forest after leaving Fajardo and showed up around 4. Check in was... More

rented the penthouse for several days---Manager assures you of privacy and quiet--not the case!!!when you arrive, there is no manager present throughout stay, and staff deliberately avoids assisting you--the hotel encourages and apparently runs extensive restaurant and party business---that is their priority as evident by treatment-the parties at and immediately adjacent to rooms go on into 4 am--the public beach... Regarding the guests complaint that there is no management on duty: I personally checked the guest in and personally escorted him to his room. Regarding his comment regarding party and restaurant business: The restaurant stops serving at 10PM. On the evening of Martin Luther Kings day there was a group of people on the public beach outside the guest house.... More

If you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the main strip, this location is perfect (about a 5 minute drive to the main strip in condado if you still want to see some tourist action). The guest house is located in a gated community and it always felt very safe. The beautiful beach is just steps away from... More

We stayed at apartment #14 across the street with its own security gate, and were mostly satisfied with our stay. We were still treated as guests of the main guesthouse, and most importantly, could take advantage of the complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas for the guests, as well as use of the shower for cleaning off the sand from our... I am writing this review a bit late....I stayed here one winter in 2008 and had an amazing time. So much so that I wanted to keep this place a secret, all to myself. The guest house has a boutique hotel - B&B hybrid feel. Because the guest house has less than 10 rooms, it remains very cozy, quaint, romantic,... More
